Ahh! It's making me want to dye my hair red again! I have a daughter who is 9 months old, and she has my hair color, so I don't want to dye it because it reminds me of hers😢 and I think it's cute we match.

Your hair came out great! I like fashion color when it's done like it's a natural haircolor with highlights & lowlights & slightly different shades blended together. I think you accomplished that. Here's a story about red hair dye that did not go well: Several years ago (like 17 I think) I cut my hair short from waist length. I was bedridden at the time & in the throws of menopausal hot flashes & just didn't have the spoons to deal with washing, drying & styling long hair. It was pretty light blonde at the time & I decided I wanted RED hair. The stylist I was seeing at the time was a total flake & I ended up firing him but he was game. I wanted Sharon Osbourne red & apparently a newly out, gay ex JW wasn't up on pop culture references & I couldn't find a picture. Long story short I ended up with a very dark purply red. Not quite want I wanted. And to add insult to injury that dye was extremely fugitive. My bathroom looked like a crime scene after every shower. If the hair on my neck got the least bit wet (which it did cuz remember hot flashes & night sweats) it bled all over the collar of my shirt. It got on all my white towels & all my white tee shirts. Add to that It would fade & just look like a natural dark auburn & that wasn't what I wanted. I ended up going to a different stylist who was a colorist on referral of my massage therapist & it took a while but got it back to my "natural" color. And I grew my hair out cuz I hated it short 😅

Haha for real 😂 If I ever wanna experiment with blues definitely gonna stick to wigs after seeing so many horror stories of people either trying to go blue, or people trying to remove blue from their hair 😂
