​@@notsurejr4957 DL2 map was made mostly by AI, of course the developers made the assets but the AI scrambled them throughout the map. That's why Villedor as a whole isn't very interesting to explore since the AI didn't care if the place looked interesting it just put anything there and moved on.

@@terrabnadia1793 honestly I feel that way about DL1. Every building looks the same, they're all no bigger than 2 stories so there's not much verticality, even in the second zone. Dl2 has SO MUCH verticality and nearly every single building has MULTIPLE floors you can roam around and loot. It's just way more fun to parkour in the 2nd game. I don't care if that's considered a hot take. It's just true, everyone who says I'm crazy it's just hanging on to nostalgia for some odd reason.

​@terrabnadia1793 actually false because the central loop was hand crafted a long time ago. When e3 2019 was announced. It still uses it. However some areas and old vilidor are ai generated. So I'd geuss maybe around 30 percent of the map is ai. But that shouldn't be the case

Spike has to be one of those characters that will return. It's his buddy that provides gear and weapons on the Pilgrim Outpost. Just as Spike is offering this service for both games simultaneously, it's safe to assume that he will be doing the same thing for The Beast. Start saving up those pilgrim tokens everyone! I'm sure they will come handy once the game releases.

If you want to really sell that immersion, driving being only 3rd person is a huge let down. Yes, you cannot see as much around you, but that only forces you to be aware of your surroundings even more. One of my favorite parts of the following was driving as fast as I can away from volatile nests at night, terrified of if they were following me. All I could hear was their footsteps and screeching, and those times where I'd turn around and see them pouncing at my car was truly horrifying (but super fun). I want to feel like I'm actually in the shoes of my character, third person completely throws that off. I understand the reasoning though, so I'd love the option.

The fact that The Beast takes place after 2 is very intriguing to me. I was certain it would take place in between the 2 games but knowing it's basically a sequel to 2 in terms of story makes this quite a bit more interesting.

I'm a little puzzled on how to put it into words, but this franchise in general means so much to me. I spent hours playing around in Harran, in fact its one of the things that me and my brother bonded over. I no longer live with him, though I cherish the time I had with him and the game a lot. It really brought me joy, and I'd give anything to go back, but regardless I'm so glad it happened. I remember being so unbelievably hyped for Dying Light 2, as I was such a huge fan of Dying Light 1 and was so ready to jump around and kill zombies again. I also remember when those first gameplay trailers dropped, showing off the PK, parkour, quest events, etc. that me and my friend were so excited about. We talked about the PK and specifically a public execution if i remember correctly, we really liked how the game looked. Unfortunately, I never got to experience Dying Light 2 with him as I moved away, but with us being such huge fans I'm sure he enjoyed it as I did. And yes, I DID enjoy Dying Light 2. I preordered it on Playstation originally, but refunded and preordered on steam (like a month before it released lol) I still remember the night that I was finally able to play it. It was 8 pm I believe, and I was playing on day one (or rather minute one lol, I had it predownloaded and was waiting around half an hour before I was able to play) and the game was amazing. From what I hear, I must've gotten a little lucky, as my playthroughs in the beginning were relatively smooth and I don't recall bugs or anything like that. Either way, it really brought me joy and I also cherish my time with Dying Light 2, as it reminds me of being happy with my family before I moved away, and it's one of my comfort games. Anyway, big takeaway from this is I love you guys and I love your games, PLEASE take good care of beast, take your time and make the best game you can make ❤

I'm excited to play as Kyle Crane again. Dying Light was one of the most terrifying games I had ever played when I first played it. I was young and have extremely found memories of it. I also really enjoyed Dying Light 2, but the first game holds a special place in my heart. Can't wait to play The Beast.

If the GRE is the “Enemy Faction” of this game then they should have it where a large majority of the regular survivors in the surrounding area are Escaped Test subject Prisoners that escaped but can’t leave Castor woods.

Big W for Techland for not recasting Kyle Crane like how Capcom recasted Frank West in the new Dead Rising Remake. Despite that I’m still excited for the new Dead Rising Remake. But also another thing to give Techland credit for is how they confirmed they never wanna abandon Dying Light 2 like how every other triple a studio does with their games when they unfortunately don’t do so well at launch. Great job Techland I’m happy about this and hope you can be a role model for other companies and hopefully they take notes from this.

Dying Light 3 should follow a similar storyline as Case West from Dead Rising 2. That takes place after the ending of the beast in a post credit scene. When Crane meets Aiden and they team up.

First of all: I'm really excited about The Beast and Kyle Crane.😎 I'm really looking forward to it and can hardly wait. When Dying Light (1) came out, I was really worried there wouldn't be a sequel and thank God Dying Light 2 came out.🤩 Dying Light (1) was the reason for me to get a PS4 because I absolutely had to play Dying Light.😁 Dying Light (1) is one of my absolute favorite games ever (in fact, there is only one game that ranks above Dying Light (1) and that is The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt) and the fact that Kyle will be returning in what is essentially "Dying Light 2.5" is awesome. I just want to say thank you for making us these incredibly good games, thank you very much and I'm really looking forward to everything else you show us from this amazing zombie world.😁 I do have a strange question for you though😅 Could you imagine doing an event in Dying Light 1, 2 or The Beast, if not even in Dying Light 3, with a Predator crossover? I've been thinking for a while how awesome it would be if a Predator (for the event) came to Harran or Villedor and hunted Kyle or Aiden or the Volatile and you could get the mask, weapons and equipment of a Predator😍 Maybe even fight with or against a Predator😁

Don't know if you guys will see that comment, but please... Make Freaks respawn-able like every week or through some poster, cos i liked DL1 The Following Freaks a lot, but when i wanted to beat them again, i was supposed to start New Game+ which would take a lot of time to get to those bosses without any safezones unlocked. And another idea for DL2 and DL:The Beast - make unique special infected roam around the place doing stuff. For example - Demolisher. He could be walking around, throwing stuff around in rage or fighting some Renegades he have met.

I have enjoyed both DL games and never really minded the issues because the devs did support the games well! The Beast looks great and it’s very exciting (but do take your time; a better game is always worth the wait)!

One of the biggest differences that make DL1 better was the dreadful feeling from going to day to night and the relieving feeling of going from night to morning. As the sun went down, you would get a call to come back to base, if you stay out, chance of survival was low. You could see the zombies staring into the sun as it went down, and the moment it was gone, they would turn aggressive or just outright into a Viral. This one mechanic was huge. It put you in the "OH SHIT" feeling everytime. If DL2 kept this, I think it would of been way better than just saying oh we now have more special zombies that come out at night. Ok??.... For me, the feeling of losing track of time and staying out too late, watching the zombies get way more crazy at night with a half working flashlight was far better. You truly get the feeling like night time is not for the weak. It's for the daring.. one thing I would do for DL2 to succeed is 1, bring this into the game. 2, make it so some places would lock the doors after a certain time and the only safe place are the locations that YOU secured. If AI has a location for you to go to or a safe zone, those players should have a choice to let you in if you've helped them in the past. Otherwise, you're all on your own after hours.
