Cool! I had a 1978 King Cobra BITD. It was a rattling, creaking little car with little to no power, but it did handle pretty well. A 4-bbl carb and intake along with long tube headers and exhaust did improve the power a good bit, but it was still weak in comparison to my 69 Mustang GT with a 351W in it.

I'm actually named after Gabriel HiJackers! My Dad said I was conceived in the back of his 66 Impala SS. He had 'em on the back. When I was born they were trying to come up with a good name for me. Dad popped off an said well....If those shocks were strong enough to handle me and your mother going at in the back seat. Then it should be a good strong name for my boy! 🤣😅 True story!

yeah, those old ford transmissions will shift by themselves. I had a 2000 Crown Victoria that would shift by itself but I had a 2004 that would not, so I'm not sure what year they stopped programming them like that.

Car guys are Car guys, Ford, Mopar or GM its all good. Maybe an Aussie Ford Barra (Inline 6) in a Plymouth Valiant (A body) for Holley Ford Festival? Nice and light, Short wheelbase and Barras make really good power and are reliable cheap fun and I know they are being exported to the US plus they work well with Holley Engine and fuel management. Loved your work Dylan as always and its great to see your Wife out there supporting you too, a true blessing right there.
