Dylon Cara's curtains

I'm about to use Dylon emerald green on white jeans, I really hope they turn out a teal colour and not bottle green

I’m using 3 pods, one and a half in each load ) 2 loads) also our caravan curtains are cotton , I’m nervous lol 😂 hopefully they take as split into two loads and one n a half pods for each load seems enough

Hey there, are these blackout curtains that block all the light for sleeping? Then it's very likely that the material is synthetic and the colour doesn't stick to anything but the lining (which then might be natural fibre such as cotton). Dylon also has dyes for synthetic fibre, have you tried that?

Thanks for your advice. No I didn't find any for synthetic materials. But to be honest I found some cushions that match the curtains colour so I'm going yo keep then this shade for now. But if you have a link I'd be happy too try it at a later date. Thanks for watching. Xx stay safe xx

@@caravaningincarathevan467 Ah, yes you are right, I believe that I made a mistake there. Dylon doesn't have dye for synthetic fibres, but Rit does. However, that cannot be used in the washing machine because the machine doesn't get hot enough for the colour to penetrate the synthetic fibres. www.ritdye.com/instructions/how-to-use-dyemore-for-synthetic-fibers/ Well, glad to hear that you found a different solutions with the cushions :) Thanks for your lovely video! Those curtains look synthetic with cotton lining, that's why they did not dye with Dylon its only for natural fibres

Just turn them round so the grey is what you see from the inside

Could you not of tried two dylon pods? Rit dye is brilliant

@Overrrrrr it was no way near 500 grams. It was just the wrong material I learnt afterwards nylon doesn't take colours
