Does anybody experience the issue, that the spawned footprints are acutally above the foot, when you look in first person down to the feet? Really unsure how to fix that

Is it possible to make your step in a different color than green in the grass field?

Yeah absolutely, like I said in the video, where I created the material and I set the colour, you can set that to be what ever you like. It can be a different colour or a texture.

The cool thing is, you can use this code and at the exact same notifies play sound. And while we're doing that, count. Because we all love to look at our stats and say "I've walked x steps in this game"

Yep definitely, in fact I did one on dynamic footstep sounds too :) And that's true, gives a weird sense of accomplishment haha

@@MattAspland I know because I already saw it. Actually. This made me think. Maybe in the future you could do a series of tuts all complimenting each other. So people can follow one single playlist and make a simple yet complete video game.

I have a feeling that this would make floating footprints on hills? Love it so far though.

Hi, since they are decals they should be placed onto the floor and go with the curve of the terrain too. So on a hill it shouldn't float, it should be placed perfectly on the curvature of the hill. And thank you :)
