So a shout out to your concise review! This one might work for me in grey. I have looked at 40 plate carriers (PC) in a week. I was 26 yrs combat search and rescue. Now everyone is buying PCs and arguing about ounces, when plates weigh pounds. 🙄 If I were going to Ukraine as an old man... sure. But 99.5% of these sales are to civilians. You gonna wear a Multicam PC in public when SHTF??? No, you want level 4 and nothing in front and gear from your armpits to waist. Back pack goes on when you have to leave the car. ... Well, at least they will concentrate fire on that dude in multicam, while my gray one is under my sweatshirt!!! Thank you!!!

i got a custom placard made from him when he first started been holding up great. designed it to be as space efficient as possible . went with the wide molle placard and had him put tq elastic on the side . i carry 3 rifle mags , 1 pistol mag , 2 tqs , penlight , knife ,a chemlight and a sharpie in the inserts and elastic and 2 rifle 2pistol ten speeds on the front for my multitool ,shears and more rifle ammo if i want to double stack the front.

Still hate lasercut molle. But itll win me over eventually. Just made the move from sa/da to striker fired and kicking myself for waiting so long. Pricing is about what a 6094 was or a full shaw concepts arc v2

Just order a radio pouch or something like that from Beez. Their radio pouch completely killed any skepticism I had regarding laser cut materials and the like.

only bad thing about lazer cut is mounting stuff is harder and you sometimes cant fit thicc objects in open molle space like shells or chemlights or penlights . thats why i still like having velcro molle on my admin area so i can run a penlight there without a pouch and mount my ptt

Looks interesting, but 12-16 week lead time is a turn off for some. For a non-custom kit.

This is valid. We started as a very small sew shop and have been growing a lot faster than anticipated. We are currently in the middle of transitioning our production model from individual order production to batch production. While this has put us behind on orders in the short term, in 8ish weeks when it is complete, we will have in stock items and production time for non in stock items will be a maximum of 4-6 weeks. We will also continue to do custom orders like we are now but with a longer lead time than standard items as I will still be doing them myself and have a lot less time these days 🤣

In terms of being "low profile", how would you compare this to say, a Crye SPC? In terms of weight, feel, "thinness", etc?

This is a good bit more low profile and less likely to cause any issues with printing. It probably weighs a bit less too at the cost of less upward scalability.

We don’t see a lot of grey colored plate carriers being advertised in vids. Would grey be a good low vis option for SHTF or bugout in most urban environments?

Looking at this and the MEPC, and the only thing I don't like about this one is the exposed plates, though I don't know if that really matters.

It doesn’t really matter. This is a superior platform in my opinion having handled both.

@@EODFish the SLPC just looks incredibly thin compared to the fairly thin looking MEPC, which honestly might contribute to the comfort. I'm not experienced in load bearing gear, as the only stuff I've owned is a milsurp FLC (yes I'm that poor), so my fears of the material... "girth" might be completely unwarranted.
