First trick explanation: 1- Audience picks card 2- Pink break on the FIRST card ON TOP 3- Pretend you slide in middle of deck while sliding card beneath the top card on the pinky break 4- Make a false shuffle or cut for cards to stay on top 5- Take out top card and show its not that one (there selected card is now on top) 6- Show the card as you place the top one there (this is to leave the top card on the bottom, letting the selection sit on top) 7- Make a card throw on the top card (the selection) and catch in in the air reavealing there selection...

It doesn’t matter if it’s seen, he uses a pinky break to hold the position, then a card pass to bring it second from the top of the deck, does a false shuffle to keep the top portion of the deck, then a false Sybil cut, lifts the top card off to show its not on top, and puts it on the bottom, the chosen card is now on top, the rest is a simple card flick to shoot out the top card.

I will speak in code At first my mind got torn watching Dynamo's shuffle, it's like Chris Kenner syverly cut my brain, the way Dynamo shoots cards is top notch. It's easy to make a page disappear from a book to an envelope that far specially when that envelope is in a different room or compartment, everybody noticed that I think, that's why I doubt Dynamo could do the same trick in one room instead of 2 different ones. That page was a random page "228" which makes the trick even easier, yet I wouldn't do such trick on my close-up magic or even stooge-magic shows, I'm happy JR got involved and accepted to air such trick on his show. i got it steps 1. he did a marlow tilt (putting the card in 2nd place from the top) 2. that riffle shuffle was controlled , he actually didnt make a change. 3. his "dynamo shuffle " is actually a false cut. 4. if you look carefully when he says is this your card( he shows the top card ) and the bottom one he actually puts the top card on the bottom leaving the chosen card the first one . 5. he flicks the first card and that the card he chose

For those who wanna know how the card trick was done . First he took the card and placed in the middle of the deck and took a pinky break . Then he did a sleight called the dribble classic pass so that the chosen card is controlled to the top of the deck . Then he did a riffle shuffle but without moving the top card . Then he did a 6 packet sybil cut which he calls the dynamo shuffle however its a false shuffle and doesn't disturb the order of the deck . Then he did a simple top card shot with his thumb ....

I don't know how this trick is performed, but I did notice that he had a red paperclip attached to his jacket during the first part of the interview and when he came back from handing Emma the envelope, it had gone....perhaps "vanishing paperclip" is another trick!

He takes your card, pretends to slide it back in the deck halfway, but really uses slight of hand to place it under the top card. then he shows the top card, says oh this isnt yours, then double lifts the 2 top cards to show your card.

So, that explains how the magic works. Ross has been in on so many plots, the producers don't need much explaining for him to sign NDA papers and get his cut of proceeds. Maybe 20% of it to keep the secret for 20 years, something like that. And 200% of it for penalty if disclosed sooner. That explains why Copperfield's tricks of the 90s are all revealed around mid 2010s.

It might be staged...but I know psychologists who can literally hypnotize someone for them to say what they want or do even if it's not obvious. It's called Mentalism. Look for Darren Brown. The book was ripped in advance of course but he just might have made him say 228 without it being staged. I'm not saying Im right... it's just...everything is possible.
