Agreed, in fact Sun Jian was probably mvp in the coalition's fight against Dong Zhuo, considering in actual history, killing Hua Xiong, defeating Lu Bu and pushing Dong Zhuo back was his doing. But both the Hua Xiong and Dong Zhuo parts were credited to Liu Bei's trio in the Romance novels🤔

What's your favorite Hu Lao gate anyways Xald? I know everyone will call me a fan boy but I always liked DW 3 but I loved how there were chapters in DW 4 setting you up for a big finale. I like 6s because it looked nice and I liked the siege aspect, DW8 for me is good but it doesn't feel like you're about to siege a big gate or anything.

At least in that one Yuan Shu has actual problems. Being ambushed by Lu Bu and all. You can call that version of Hu Lao an object lesson in Morale mechanics. The only way Lu Bu is dropping under normal circumstances is killing his men to kill his morale so everyone else can keep him under control.

To cut back on voice acting costs. DW8 barely got dubbed, and considering SW4 wasn't dubbed it may be the last Warriors with English voice acting.

They actually did dub some of the camp dialogue then end up taking it out of the game and not finishing it, they forgot to take out one of the dialogues in Fan Castle which you can hear if your volume is high.

Cao Cao's keen eye for talent is what makes me admire him, his charisma drives people to be loyal to him, what a great leader he was. IMHO he could have had achieved unification if only he'd won at Chi Bi

Definitely, all Shu had to do was listen to Zhuge Liang and they would of won. Only problem was Sima Yi, Zhuge Liang needed Wu to take down Sima Yi hence why he needed that alliance with Wu so bad. Guan Yu fucked it all up.

Cao Cao's leadership would be able to hold off Wu but not Zhuge Liang as he needed Sima Yi to match Zhuge Liang. Sima Yi was the best strategist of that time, it's just Zhuge Liang was a genius when it came to reading and understanding people so he could easily trick even Sima Yi into being overly cautious and not attacking Shu at times, but when it came to military might Sima Yi is on top by a large difference, only Jia Xu comes close (Cao Cao would of won Chibi if he listened to Jia Xu). Basically Wei would be strong enough to defend against Shu and Wu IF Cao Cao lived and if SIma YI stayed loyal (Sima Yi will NOT die a servant, Cao Cao knew he would betray), but it's only Sima Yi who would need the absolute combined power of Shu and Wu to defeat him.

Carl Johnson maybe it's quite late, but i'll answer your question anyway. In my opinion, shu would be able to take control of the land IF wu didn't betray them during the events of fan castle. After having conquered han zhong, shu was basically the strongest kingdom out of the 3, having control of the majority of jing province, yi province, and han zhong (which is a natural barrier against wei on itself). Cao ren was about to give up to guan yu with the death of pang de, yu jin's defection to shu, and basically was left with no hope. But with wu joining the battle, the table turned. So if wu didn't betray shu, they could have conquered wei and ended the war quickly. But since wu attacked guan yu, the war was prolonged for another 50+ years.
