I started at playing this series with Dynasty Warriors 2 and I have to say, after playing the demo, I love the direction their taking. Can't wait to play it!

While it looks great, removing all the other playable characters is a massive L to me. I enjoyed the variety of characters and weapons. I hope this does well and they get around to doing more Warriors spin offs.

i think having access to all the weapons they have (hopefully) offsets that. I'd play lu bu for his powerful trident attacks or xu zhu for his big club not because i am drawn to the characters themselves.

@@Zaron_Gamingcharacter design is important though you want your character to look cool with personality people like lubu cause has a angry badass and his weapon reflects that personality. the protagonist looks very bland and either should have been customizable/created or have the 9 companions be the main playable characters ( three each ) though out the game with there story sure it sucks having the smaller roster but if there moves are the same as the protagonist and there already controllable might as well have for example xiahou dune be the main character for the wei path and be the one who makes choices and such for that story. this is dynasty warriors not the dynasty warrior. while I'm looking forward to playing it, the choices made for this game is weird.

Its a way for them to build a compelling proof of concept. They can expand in successive titles. Im enjoying everything i saw in the demo and in all the reviews so i hope they carry the successful elements to next titles and expand on everything including characters.

I cant get past the price. These game devs are insane. The more they raise the price, the longer i wait to play their game. I can wait for all dlc to be included fornhalf the price.

This feels like they took an approach to make combat and characters heavier and mashed it together with the best parts of Samurai Remnant and I'm all here for it.

That's the biggest bummer for me. I do often end up playing solo after a while (tackling side missions and all that) but for years me and one of my homies have been going through the campaign modes of these games together and that's how I view and enjoy them overall.

u think the ps5 can run 2 instance of the game at once and maintain 60 fps lmao your a funny one. Thats why we dont see split screen in most games cuz u and many others dont understand with the graphic we have these days how taxing that is on the hardware

Its a proof of concept. They can build on it with successive titles or carry the elements into a next mainline title. In this one you can still play as companions, granted temporary still but they arent completely gone. All the ideas in this game are sound as far as i can see in the demo amd reviews. I hope they will carry the successful ideas to the next title and expand everything including characters.

same tired femboy art direction. They need to reinvent the entire brand with visceral realism, period accurate armors, and realistic faces. 20 or so games of the same thing is boring.

Might be fun for 10 minutes but that UI is atrocious. Why so many game devs think it necessary to bloat the screen with unnecessary crap blocking 75% of the player's view is beyond me. Also the in-battle music grinds on your gears VERY quickly. Does not fit the style AT ALL!

The guitar rock has been the anthem of these games for over a decade. Changing it up at this point would likely have turned people off. The UI is a mess but really don’t know how they would communicate all the battlefield changes any other way.
