A while back i watched a video about the Vashon Ranger, a company owned by the owner of Dynon. Pulling a blank on his name. He's an interesting guy. Glad to see Dynon featured anytime. After the autopilot all thats missing is s CB Radio!

I just showed my uncle this video and he has Garmin in his Mooney. He said that if he would have seen these videos sooner he might have went with Dynon. He loves the layout and what Dynon can do for much less. He also watched the pricing video. He spent some much more with Garmin and didn't even get a second screen. Keep the video's coming. Love the vidcast, but turn the music down a bit or duck it with your voice track. If you are using an audio tool like Audacity you can put your voice track under the music track and use "autoduck" to push the music down when there is anything on the voice track. I really do watch your stuff to hear your comments and sometimes the interaction between you and the controller. If the music is as loud as you are, it's distracting. I usually use -10 dB duck. If you don't use ducking, adjust the music to be 10 dB below your voice. Thanks for the videos! - Bill

Inside I just have a small heater to keep the inside warm. I remove it when I fly. I have heat in the plane once she is warmed up.

How do you have the wireless network set up with the Avidyne and the Dynon. Is the Avidyne connected to the skyview network, or does the Skyview connect to the Avidyne network? I think I read one of them runs a host network or maybe both?

The SkyView is wireless and the Advidyne. You can do both these days but I typically use the Avidyne because the avidyne stream to the SkyView and I don’t have it set up for the other way around.

How did you mount your gopro to the overhead. I've got '69 Ranger and there are not flat surfaces in teh right place other than the speaker grill.
