Absolutely love my Dyson V10. Been using it for over a year and it's still going strong. I've got a husky at home, btw, so that should tell you something. :D Thank you very much for this review. I didn't know how to use the tools, so I pretty much left them in the box and only used the main floor head. With your explanation, I'll now be using all of them!

I love my V10. This was so helpful. Did not know anything about the tools. The only problem I have is with the smell it creates but I have solved this with scented cards.

Good demo was watching as bought V10 before Xmas and it is leaving fine scratch marks on my amtico flooring…. Will have to contact dyson 🤔

excellent demonstration on this unit! I learned a lot. I use mine at my job and I tend to suck up a lot of tiny rocks. I use it on a very short carpet as well as a showroom floor. my concern is that when I stop it to enter another room, then the debris and small rocks fall out onto the floor. This is very discouraging. I clean the filter and wash it once a week. Am I doing anything wrong? 😩

This can be a common issue. Sometimes there may be a small blockage in one of the pipes.it could also be the fact the filter is too old.if you have washed it quite a few times it could need a new filter. Sometimes installing a new filter really improves the suction.

I have v10 animal and need an extension with soft roller. would if fit in it ? I can get a soft roller head extension from Dyson too. Please advise. thanks

The soft roller cleaner head will fit if you buying the genuine part and it's the complete head.

can you help me my dyson is starting to smell of sick when i use it, its not the cordless it is a cylinder i empty it after every use i have clean and washed bucket and filter but it still smells have you any advice how i can stop this happening i dont want to go and buy a new one as only had it 4 years and as you know they do cost a bit

If you have cleaned the filters a lot it could be that the filters need replacing especially ofvthey are the originals at 4 years old

hello, is this product better traction or v10 absolute?

The suction and performance is the same between the v10 animal and absolute. The main difference is the Absolute model comes with a soft roller cleaner head. This floor head is ideal for hard floors and especially picking up large particles like cereal.

My Dyson has stopped charging anyone any idea's. It is only 4 months old.

More than likely a faulty charger but I would ring Dyson as it will still be covered under the 2 year warranty
