In general, I think it's good when people play decks that are balanced at the same level. Meta v Meta = Fun Rogue/Low Tier v Rogue/Low Tier = Fun Meta v Rogue/Low Tier = Unfun (for both players; way too easy for the meta and way too hard for the rogue/low tier)

Meta players always play the same decks over and over again in MD. It would probably be fun if I see people actually playing creatively build Meta decks they build with their own braincells instead of the decks they found on YGOPro.

24:16 - When a trap card mentions leaving the field but affects the attached monster through a continuous effect, the monster is affected even when the trap moves into the Deck. If it were an activated effect when it leaves the field then it wouldn't activate, but continuous effects will still apply due to moving into the Deck. An example is Oasis of Dragon Souls destroying the monster if you move it into the Deck with Spiritual Wind Art - Miyabi.

actually, it does count, but card effects don't trigger in the ED or deck (except for one very specific card - Serpentine Princess), so if you jelly cannon your own monster, it doesn't trigger, but it is considered to have left the field.
