Just FYI: The Elemental HERO / Neos support from Power of the Elements is, to date, only available in Master Packs. For whatever reason, they have not included it in any other packs. So I strongly recommend some kind of crafting exemption for whomever spins the wheel and gets Neos.👍

This episode was karmic justice at play here. This was maybe the one episode where this pack was opened and someone decided to actually lean into the Lair cards instead of the Dark World cards and it paid off dividends

What makes this deck playable is NBT has cards that can search his lair shit which he desperately needs as Lair needs a critical mass of cards to do anything. I have a suggestion: What if you keep the cards you've pulled when you lose so you can use them when you get the same pack again, but you only open 10 packs instead of 20. In theory it lets the weaker packs more cards to work with.

its the only "consistent" in pack removal and there wasnt another good ur craft, gates interferes with lair, he had 2 each of the lair urs. I cant remember if it allows crafts from in archetype outside the pack or if that was a different series, but the only ur in that case requires grapha

I have to go for Thunder Giant I remember watching the anime and thinking it was so cool being able to pop anything under 2400 having only ever played with the Yugioh starter deck and overestimating the power level of Thunder Giant. I would of laughed if MBT lost Game 1 because he thought the Lair boss monster was just a special summoned 3k beater. The Lair deck just got so tired of Doug hating on it that it decided to give MBT the best pulls they could to beat Doug.

Lair making the Heroes dark attribute was actually a bad thing. If Dzeeff could summon Acid he could have wiped the lair off the field.

16:10 Doug should have played a necrom +edge package. He can pitch it from the deck off the shadow mist and it’s essentially a free special summon with 2600 attack from deck

I remember recommending this during the Bakura/Labrynth fiasco and think I should bring it up again: Maybe we should tie crafts to the character’s theme rather than the pack. Like, for instance, MBT would’ve had to craft a Dark World SR instead of the third Lair. Or for Bakura you’d have to craft the Dark Necrofear stuff instead of Labrynth stuff. It’d be a way of both making the roulette feel more about the characters but also help curb some of the issue of non-anime decks like Labrynth or Lair just being better than anime decks lol.

To buff this, you could possibly allow crafts for theme cards that aren’t in the pack. Like maybe for the Neos pack you can craft some of the new POTE stuff that’s only in the Master Pack (as another comment here suggests).
