Welcome to the Yu-Gi-Oh Character Roulette! Each week ‪@MBTYuGiOh‬ and I will spin a wheel to build a deck from packs featuring cards used by anime characters throughout Yu-Gi-Oh's history, and then we’ll craft 1 card of each rarity from our pack to round out our decks. After a character’s pack wins the match it’s removed from the wheel, while the losing pack is given a second chance at victory! If you're keeping up with a format though the take will rarely be noticeably different than your own. Sadly this time no one spoke about those. Does the gimmick puppet stuff do anything? My favorite bad world premier deck? Easy. Materiactor. Introduced in the same set as War Rocks, consisted of 2 monsters for the longest time. Both cards have strange effects. There is still only 1 main deck monster despite said monster being a searcher for the archetype. Only got legacy support 1 year after their initial release, which consisted of a single card. Literally the most insane archetype ever released.

dpe is actually the counterpart to shining phoenix enforcer which is the counterpart to shining flare wingman

Just got to the deck profiles and man I wish Doug had looked more at the Vision HEROs since this is sealed. He's loaded up on Destiny HEROs that have a bunch of once-per-duel effects. I get wanting to focus on the stronger archetype, but a lot of Destiny HERO cards in multiples are just awkward to play with whereas if you're doing Vision HERO stuff at all, you want three of the Gravito (he pulled them) because even without Faris to make that part of the deck work more consistently, the Vision HERO guys themselves can recur themselves to the backrow as Continuous Traps, giving you some disruption and enabling you to get Witch Raider out. Vision Fusion (which he also pulled) is also strictly an upgrade over Polymerization in this deck. EDIT: clearly it didn't matter. MBT's pulls were so bad he just didn't even put up a decent fight. Ah well, that's Yu-Gi-Oh!

The thing about Labrynth was also that it was just so obviously more powerful than the other deck in the pack. There's a world here were mbt pulled better amazones cards, but there was never a world where somebody was aying dsstiny board. Also, I don't think he should have been allowed to craft a war rock card from outside the pack

The conspiracy is true. Separate from that, Danger had to probably cancel Danger Yeti and possibly more, and emergency import Time Thief from the next OCG set. Though, I can completely imagine that Danger was not on their radar as a good archetype.

That shit was turbo ass before the OCG salvaged the deck with Double Helix AND we got a master rule change to do literally anything with the pile of idiots the deck produced. Yeah, QuikFix+Dupe was like +200 or whatever on release, but that literally didn't matter when the deck doesn't do anything and you're making like a random rank 1.

Anime style decks are fun. For me i do cpu vs cpu tournaments, main characters get their anime decks. While other characters are splashed in to give different archetypes a chance to play.
