So I've just had a horrible 12 months of fainting spells and really bad ectopics, some very painful that got so bad I was practically housebound for a month. I was a heavy vaper, and amazingly most of my symptoms stopped when I gave it up. Within about 24 hours. Was a night and day the improvement. Still suffering from much of the anxiety that this caused and it's still hard to untangle the two symptom wise. But yeah, thanks for the video and watch out everyone. It's definitely NOT harmless that stuff. It's impossible to know how much nicotine I was really dosing, but when you're constantly at it all day, the mind boggles.

I hope you don't mind me leaving a comment but I just wanted to thank you so much for what you said because I am currently vaping but I've had some really random issues over the last. so ultimately your comment is very encouraging because I've decided after 7 years of vaping that I want to stop. Knowing then in 24 hours you started to feel a lot better definitely encourages me a lotand I sincerely thank you for your comment and I hope you continue to get better.

@@Stacey_Hunter Once the symptoms started going away it made it a lot easier. Just remember that every craving is just that little nicotine monster slowly dying, and soon you'll be free. First 3 days were the worst, then within about a month couldn't believe I ever did it! Also this book is a great help. I stopped smoking 8 months ago and I use 3mg nicotine vape I was outta breath and could hike barely a mile when I quit. 8 months later on Saturday I hiked 6 miles not outta breath and still had energy. I can breathe deeper and I feel awesome. I do have some concerns about vaping thanks for explaining. I think the tar and carbon monoxide was what was so horrible in the cigs that was killing me. This is the only thing that worked for me. I will quit vaping eventually but just not ready yet. Love your videos thank you.

I hope you keep making videos. Growth on youtube can be really slow and it usually goes on like a very long curve, with a very slow start, also I think your content is very niche, it shouldnt be, but most people dont go on youtube to educate themselves about heart disease for exmaple, but I really hope you will create more content! I myself have been mostly struggling with anxiety rather than real heart issues, but I did have a genetic heart issue as a child (WPW-Syndrom) which was treated, but I still think this is what, at least partially, caused my anxiety later when I was much older. One day I just felt a weird heartbeat and a weird discomfort and I couldnt sleep for days because I was so afraid to go to sleep and not wake up again. Following that i had a lot of panic attacks and a bunch of weird symptoms including basically everything that you would call "heart attack symptons". One year in particular I went to the ER 11 times, only to be released without any real treatment (after being checked) because I was fine. They tested me for a lot of stuff, I had a stress test, heart echo and even cardiac catheterization where they also tested for Heart arrhythmia and obviously a lot of blood tests and so on. In the end they found absolutely nothing and therefore I should feel fine and not be worried, but until this day im still anxious and feeling symptoms like shortness of breath, dizziness and sometimes still am afraid to go to sleep. Your videos helped me get a bigger picture of my situation and helped me better understand what causes what and that, for example, shortness of breath does not automatically mean you have a heart problem. I watched your video about "How to tell if your breathlessness is being caused by a heart problem" and immediatly after that I started a hard workout (which I usually avoid, because im to anxious) just to test if I actually have trouble breathing when I exercise. Everything was fine, im out of shape, but it felt just very normal and I was actually impressed I could even do that. So basically your videos helped me better realize what my symptoms are and how to deal with them, but you also educated me on general heart health topics and raised my awareness. I have a lof of ideas now of things I can improve in my life to just live healthier to simply decrease my risks of any kind of heart disease and ,without taking away from the importance and severity of those topics, you took away at least some of the fear that I usually have simply talking or thinking about those things. And by the way, not entirely caused by your videos, but I did actually stop smoking AND drinking completely 3 years ago and watching your videos I am 100% dedicated to keep it that way! I have no idea if I will ever be in a time and place where I will feel healthy and secure again, but your videos were at least inspiration for me and helped me get a better understanding about my main issue (which is actually not a heart problem, but its still related) and showed me how to take better care of myself. There are A LOT of bad content creators on youtube. One of them recently posted a video where the following message was included: "Wanna know what kind of food is said to help prevent heart disease? then watch until the end of the video!" (which is 8 minutes more to watch of very irrelevant information). Those creators are not doctors and their sources are very flawed, their information mostly irrelvant and sometimes even questionable. So I really appreciate your videos and I wish you all the best!

I have been smoking traditional cigarettes since i was 13. Gave it up cold turkey when i was 33 and spent two years smoke free. I then got introduced to vapes and bought a decent mod, set my nicotine to 3mg (Yes, 3mg not 6 or 12) and vaped moderately. i enjoyed it a lot, no more yellow teeth, stinky breath or clothes. i loved it. I was a fit guy, gym in the evening 3 times a week and loved life. One day i was driving down the motorway on my car, music on, perfect summer evening. everything looked fine. i was vaping from time to time along the way, then all of a sudden i felt a long, stretched and repeated series of skips on my heartbeat. I am still driving and just when my brain realised something was wrong with my heartbeat, my visual field becomes smaller and goes dark. i was fainting. i managed to indicate towards the hard shoulder, stopped the car and i went on a weird state of pre-syncope. that must have lasted few seconds. It was like i passed out but at the same time i was awake without seeing anything. few moments after i gained full consciousness but i was in a state i have never been before. i was weak, my muscles numb, totally confused, dry mouthed, in total shock. i tried to stop cars and get some help and water but nobody stopped. i could feel i was about to faint and decided to go back in my car. i thought i was about to die, there, on a perfect summer evening by my self, in the hard shoulder. eventually the police found me and called an ambulance. they did check me and found nothing. Since that specific day, i live with everyday, irregular heartbeat, to a point every skip makes me feel the dizziest i have ever been. i also live with permanent dizziness. my head spins 24/7 when walking and it makes my day a misery. i developed feeling faint when walking and sometimes i almost feel like my legs movements are no longer coordinated with my brain. my life turned into a hell. Could all of the above be side effects of vaping? possibly. i never had any kind of issue before vaping. i know many people who vape for years and never had a single problem, but if any of you has ever experienced what i experienced please step forward and speak, as i feel the only fool who had to go through that. Be safe, Joe.

Hey Joe, funny enough I used to vape and drink coffee almost everyday and one day I had extra beats that felt wrong. I had a huge panic attack that day and it continued for about 2 weeks. Since then I quit vaping and caffeinated products. Changed up my diet, started taking supplements, and now the ectopics went away. I also got check ups from the doctor (ekg, blood test, vitals, etc.) Everything came up normal except for the fact that I built anxiety after that event. So far it's been a month and I'm so glad I quit vaping. Hope you're doing better! Feel free to update me about your current status.

Same happened to me, one evening had a big meal, smoked a cig and went to lay down in bed, about 5 minutes later my whole body felt like it was numb, I got up and felt like I wanted go faint, I called my friend who rushed over, I walked it off for 10 minutes and still felt like I wasted to faint, I went to the hospital and they don't know what's going on since all my tests came back normal. I been having fast heart beats and weird thuds for the past 3 weeks, I quit smoking 3 days ago and almost feel much better. The heart beats are less and feel them going away, going to see the heart doctor again in 2 days.. Do you have an update?

Some little personal things I found out switching from cigarettes to iquos to no smoker a lot of times: 1. Using iquos when in go into running my performaces increase. My breath improved and also my body resistence. 2. My heart beat at rest increased with iquos. I used to have 55 bmp as no smoker, i Since i use iqos it is difficult to go under 70 (fit same level of fitness). 3. Blood pressure increases while i am still smoking iquos. 135 at rist, while usually, as no smoker, i had 110. 4. Panic attack and anxiety disturbs improve hugely when I don’t use neither iquos or cigarettes. 5. I use to wake up tired if I smoke or I use iquos. 6. Using Iquos I tend to “smoke” more, that leads to a greater intake of nicotine. 7. Using iquos I don’t feel the same inflamation of thoath i get smiking cigarettes. Personal conclusion: I feel a little better using iquos rather than smoking, but I feel way better no smoking at all.

Great video 👍 e-cigarettes are a terrible habit 😀, so many shineys to buy and collect, different flavours, DIY eliquid, building your own coils etc I vape MTL in temperature control mode and sometimes enjoy some unflavoured elqiuid in my Kayfun. Experimenting with making a AA powered mod, plenty powerful for MTL vaping.

Thankyou for the extremely informative video and you are correct we still do not know the full effects of vaping I fear in the long run it will be much worse than traditional smoking! Have you seen all the kids vaping now because it's cool? It's very sad. Plus 1 elf bar has 20 cigarette worth of nicotine in.....

Thanks for this video and the one on magnesium! I would like you to consider expanding further on the issue with black market cannabis vapes and recent use of vitamin e acetate as a thickener. The US media and govt. have done a piss poor job differentiating e cigs, and the actual cause of the hospitalization for lung damage and deaths in USA which is the use of vitamin e acetate in black market cannabis/thc vapes.

Great video. I am sharing to another platform . I would have liked to hear a little more opinion on the THC and CBD pens ~ think they probably use a lot of the same propellants - hence still could be problematic. Thanks again Sanjay.

Brandue I’m so sorry for your misinformed mind, diacetyl is responsible for the development of popcorn lung, which is in much higher concentration in cigarettes 1,000’s of times more, and they are made of nichrome (nickel chromium wire) a clean heating wire and cotton (no combustion) and the liquid is in a glass tank, any other education you need im happy to help .....happy educating 😊

Here I am after 4-5 years of vaping 6mg of nicotine and after the first "warning", arrhythmia, accelerated heart work, night in the coronary hosp. I wonder if it makes sense to remove the nicotine from the vape and try with 0 nicotine, is it less dangerous that way?
