Looking forward to this one. A lot of potential to go to the 4s batt. I like that the gear are fixed and you can belly land it (good for snow). Retracts and flaps are interesting but, i’d rather fly than worry about that so this model is right for me.

I have just transitioned to this model, as my first low wing airplane....I have flown it on 3S only, and the guys at the field warn me not to fly very slow because it will stall....is stalling this aircraft, when turning at low speed something it does, as I haven't experienced it yet...thanks

@@PilotRyanMedia Subbed, Probably be in the Spring. Building a Capra Crawler now, and it's Fracking Cold here in Nebraska. I build and Fly lots of Planes in Kerbal Space Program, and have been a flight and flight combat simulator fan for over 20 years. It's nice that technology has gotten to a point where I am not afraid of spending the money to just crash it into the ground. Got that itch, just a matter of time now.

I got the one with the safe mode and as 3x and I am a slow scale flyer I don't do no acrobatics none of that not interested in it and I will say it flashes just as good as the arrow scout 1.1 m and that's what I learned to fly on I've never had a problem with it never even come close to crashing it but I like this look of civilian aircraft and that's what drew me to this so it's not intimidating at all if you can fly a basic four channel aircraft I believe you could fly this

Mistakenly, I purchased the PNP version which, of course, arrived without a receiver. If I I purchase an AR631 receiver from Horizon Hobbies must I ask them to configure it for the E-flite T28 Trojan 1.1M plane or can the receiver, off the shelf, work?

Any battery with an ic3 or ec3 connector will work in this plane, all of my batteries no matter who makes them will charge on their chargers.
@jasonhurdlow66073 жыл бұрын
@@PilotRyanMedia Do you still get battery telemetry if you don't use their G1/G2 batteries with it? Their system and chargers do seem nice, if overpriced. If it was licensed to and supported by other manufacturers I'd be more keen on it. I just have an aversion to vendor lock-in. It's almost always a bad thing in the long-run. Also, already having a good charger system, I'd rather not have to buy another one. I find it 'interesting' that despite having all the balancing circuitry in the battery itself on the G2, they still require you to use their charger. That doesn't seem necessary to me. A regular LiPo charger should be able to charge it, even if it means you lose out on some of the fancier features of their charger. I'd be more likely to start buying G2 batteries, then later down the road buy their charger if that was the case.
@PilotRyanMedia3 жыл бұрын
I hear you. It’s not for everybody. We’ve all been getting along pretty good up till now. You’re right to ask about telemetry. You won’t get it unless everything is smart
