This show was struggling + not performing well in the ratings. When Mr bad came into it "E" Street was riding the ratings tidal wave. It went from rock bottom to boom highly in the ratings. Once he (Mr Bad) was gone the show fell of its rating tidal wave and got wiped out. Australian television may not of had a super hero in disguise ever, but Mr Bad was one hell of a Villian.

haha..Have you checked out the clips of "where are they now"? The actor who played Mr Bad (Vince Martin) said he was in the show for 8 weeks, but his character lasted long after he left!

Mr Bad mark one was genuinely chilling and the most awesome storyline ever. The actor was great but they left it going for far too long and the bag on the head version was just ridiculous and killed the show.

I used to have the biggest crush on Sheridan Sturgess. Her and Elly Fielding (the first one of course). Repeats of this show would be great but all that's available are DVDs of the Mr.Bad storyline. But here in Europe, they haven't shown this in almost 20 years.Grr....

I had forgotten all about this utterly ludicrous soapie. Then I watched an old episode of The Late Show and Mister Bad was mentioned in passing. I didn't watch E Street back then but obviously knew about it because of the incredibly stupid storyline and the Mr Bad character. What I want to know is, did they ever show Mr Bad doing his make up in the mirror as he prepared for his evil exploits? "Doo dee doo, I'm Mr Baaad dum tiddly deee, an evil night for meee..."
