I use this on my MacBook Air, works great. I did end up spending about $40 adding on extra, specific downloads. The software isn't complicated and doesn't try to be everything to everybody - ie too many useless functions. It is great for bible study for us ordinary folks.

Your right, too many useless functions. But the main reason for e-Sword is really to read the King James bible that as the Strong's numbers next to all the important translation and meaning of the Word. It will either turn the world upside down for you that will open your eyes to the 100% truth in scriptures or it will turn you off and stay along with all the apostate churches that' all there is out there in the public, Facebook and KZbin except a very few site are from members of the true Spiritual Church.

I use my sword for my android device which is the mobile version of e - sword. But using it in a larger screen like laptop and pc would be much convenient 😊

What's the matter with you guys? You don't even use the most important use is to read the whole bible again again having the numbers concordance in it. That was the most important reason James Strong's got this first published in a book back in 1890's. It's to teach the King James bible then in a complete 100% truth of the translation of the Hebrew and Greek language into the English language.

My Strong's Concordance is a hardback version published by Nelson. It is bigger then Rod's version. I am not sure what the difference is.

"e-Sword is a free downloadable bible study program that every bible student should have." The problem with that is it's a WINDOWS ONLY program! We'd have to install special software to enable windows programs to run on our Macs. So, no, it's not a softare that "every" bible student can have, let alone "should" have. And there are much better software available, such as Accordance Bible Software.

@@Creeper308 yeah, i recently emailed Rick to find out if he wrote a Mac version recently. And apparently he has. He used to say he was never going to do that. But he did reply saying that the Mac app is now a native app, meaning we no longer need to use anything like Crossover or Parallels to run it on our Macs now. Now I'm waiting to hear back from him as to why the software is available for free only to some Christians and not all of us. Knowing my contact with him over the years, I doubt I'm going to hear back from him about it.

Yes, a very powerful program, but when are you going to use it for why James Strong published the Numbers concordance for the King James bible in the first place back in 1890!!! Of course e-Sword is a tool, but just like James Strong purpose to publish the numbers concordance in a book form for the King James bible, this was the same purpose for Rick Meyers to include Strong's numbers concordance in the King James bible again so the Church could teach their congregations the whole bible from Genesis to Revelation!!! I see and hear you also is part of the Natural carnal flesh man apostate churches believers that had already took over the working and power of the Holy Spirit by 1890 the physical bodied churches and never preached to their congregations then the numbers concordance for the King James bible!!! And here we are since Rick Meyers e-Sword as been downloaded by 40,000,000 people in 2019 and still no churches again ever taught their congregations again except one guy called Jonathan Kleck on KZbin who teaches the whole King James bible from Genesis to revelation! I was saved, converted, redeemed and born again from above in the Spiritual back in 1987 when the Holy Spirit, Christ's Spirit entered and reside in me, in our mind where our true heart and feelings exist and the only place He can enter our flesh body!!! Like scriptures say, each of our war is not physical but inwardly, in the spiritual and in our mind where it starts at birth on earth!!! Jonathan Kleck was chosen by the Holy Spirit in 2002 to be His Messenger, the Church Bell Ringer and to reveal the mysteries of the Ages! Everything that he as been doing is recorded for everyone to see and hear. Like the old saying, the proof is in the pudding. Whether it's physical proof on earth or scripture proof written in the Word. All this started between the Holy Spirit and himself. 100% truth, no lying!!! Of course you don't have to like his character at times, but character in the flesh of a man is only from the flesh. Just like the prophets and Messenger of old, and even the apostles in the New testament. Just knowing the End of the Church Age is imminent does not mean you are saved! Satan himself knows his time is very short. You must know that's not my opinion.
