The welding is suposed to have a sizzle sound, like frying bacon, it sounds good.

Thanks, I have had a lot of practice. Fixing and fabricating panels is my favorite part. The rest is still fun and rewarding just not my favorite.

Finally someone showing how the coupe rocker was modified for the convert. I see your inner rocker brace is still good. Mine is gone and I only have a nice outer left, but after watching this gives me some good ideas. The rusted out areas look the same as mine. Those complete only convert rockers are now hard to find and I see have doubled from 3 and change to like 6 hundred. Curious are using flux or gas wire. Those spot welds are beautiful.

Did not know about the shortage and price spike of the rockers. I might need two. Oh well. I use shielding gas for my plug welds. I think they come out nice. Thanks for watching!
