It is a nice looking truck that will go with my WWII tanks as a beer supply truck. I didn't care much for the Transporter and War Thunder logos on mine either, so I'm painting it in a "Jeepers Creepers" look. You can hardly go wrong with that kind of artwork and the 6V 2400mAh batteries give it lots of juice. No regrets with mine yet although I do wish the On/Off switch was under the hood

OMG that is such a great idea! I would love to see that. Man, with 2400 mAh, it must run forever!
@darrin56292 жыл бұрын
@@AMPROEngineering I need to finish painting it first, then a clear coat before taking it outside but I do know that it sure has alot more power than it did with the stock 700mAh. And the nice thing is that it's not a LiPo, just a NiMh. E-bay

Those little fuel tanks pop open and fill with bb's ez. It makes a BIG difference right away. Those springs are bouncy, no shocks, it's a military truck, and it will flip very easily when hitting a bump from the side, putting that ballast low and between the wheels helps a lot.

True. I am still putting my mind in the head of a 5 year old. To a little one, I think they are pretty good but I do worry about durability.

aww you missed it when GearBest had the RTR B1 for 20 bucks? at that price, "here ya go have fun seeya"! or give it the cheapo mods: input shaft bushing shims (important!), soft tires, cut out plastic leaf springs, dual N20 geared motors, (the kit C24 got the dual N30 motor setup, nice torque ok speed). the B1 does good considering it caught "spare" stuff, popped in two fresh 6v 400 rpm N20 motors for using the stock toy board. its the 3D printed transmission case so the motors outputs are low enough, WPL's dual N30 setup needed lowering 1/2" for the C24 chassis, or the driveline's would have been Z's! its easy to whip up side plates from tin or aluminum sheet stock.

Alberto doesn't it just beg rear duallie rims (Gabriel Silvaz style) for 10 tires total! 2 sets WPL soft tires about 10 bucks, to cut/narrow and glue the halves back together, muscle work the front pair 5-10 minutes to soften them and slap them back on. softer tires in rear but it's twice as many sidewalls, is why I'd think use harder pair up front. it might take a 2 speed transmission (3ch Tx) really easily, with it's bigger motor. looks like the same tip applies as to the B1, cut away those plastic leaf springs to instantly gain much better suspension articulation.
@NordicRC6 жыл бұрын
Yeah, I was pretty happy about the body doors etc, the transmitter and the differential compared to the WPLs. Ohh, and I doubt WPL makes these ... or their own. The B-1 is sold by others too, like Henglong, Amewi. I bet there’s a giant production company behind all these trucks, and then WPL, JJRC, Henglong etc etc etc buys re-branded productions. I could be wrong, but that’s how a lot of things work nowadays. Good video, my friend! Thumbs up.

@AMPROEngineering6 жыл бұрын
Mine did nothing when I tried it. I wonder if it doesn't work.
@modelnutty65036 жыл бұрын
maybe transmitter on first? I'd try it (because it auto binds) with the switch both in or out to see if it matters, along with vehicle on first or transmitter on first. saw your Video Tomley and judging by ear it's like 75% or 80% power, or full power, is sure not much a step.
@matthewjames26495 жыл бұрын
Yeah it works but there's no power and won't go through the grass it's all speed you put something in the back of it and haul it around it what on concrete yay can't wait to go play on concrete
