Yes, in addition to loving many sports, I am a game show nut as well, and I'm familiar with a lot of the shows produced by Jack Barry and Dan Enright. For those not familiar, Hot Potato was a short-lived show that aired on NBC for a few months in 1984, and was hosted by Bill Cullen. Look it up if you're curious.

So many coaches. Do they hire guys just to hassle the umpires but not get the real coaches tossed out? What's next, "Assistant to the Assistant Offensive Coach for the Production of Spit?" Spit's pretty offensive to be honest. "Hey, Bobbybob, go give the umpire hell because we sure don't need you here tonight" or something like that.

@@neixgdwtf is even a bench coach? Or a staff assistant? Wtf is the difference between an offensive coordinator and a hitting coach in fucking baseball?? Way too many coaches for such a simple game. Head coach, first base coach, third base coach, and a bullpen coach is all that is needed.

Well, those 200 ejections aren't just going to materialize. When the managers and players and typical coaches aren't doing what I assume is their real job, getting ejected, then you need to hire more people to ensure production remains high. Makes sense to me🤷🏻‍♂️

Ron Washington might be one and done as far as being the Angels manager. He's a good assistant coach but just terrible as a head coach. Oh yeah the ump missed that pitch and you can't continually argue balls and strikes from the bench in MLB. But it's ok in men's league lol smh

Just really sick and tired of managers and coaches bitching to the umpires about balls and strikes when …the umpire was actually correct. When the umpire is correct and you still see fit to complain, there should be additional fines, suspensions and punishments. Allegedly, MLB cares so much about “pace of play”. How is allowing coaches, managers and or players repeated opportunities over and over again to argue judgement when the umpire is actually correct conducive to pace of play? Nope! The fans must get their “bread and circuses” and the umpires must be verbally abused and assaulted on a daily and nightly basis. What a joke…

Listen to the game commentary. The argument started because a clear strike three was called ball two. To make matters worse, the batter ended the at-bat with a hit.
