I know analytics are not god but the Flyers underlying analytics over the last 8 games are way better than you might think. 2nd in Corsi 2nd in high danger chances. That save percentage is the killer, although, that save % is not all the fault of the goalie. I think if this team had even a little more puck luck, they might not have let these losses snowball. I’m still proud for this team and what they did this year.

Great show guys. Regardless of how the Flyers are performing I look forward to this informative podcast. Now about the team………it’s going so bad that if I didn’t know much about our management I would say that they are tanking purposely. Who loses to the bottom teams in this league by multiple goals. Are we in position for the draft lottery?

How do you win in any sport??? STAR POWER!!! And how do you attain that??? Through sucking real bad and getting a high draft picks!!! Other than getting "lucky" with the 2017 draft lottery, their average draft position in the past 25 years is THE WORST IN THE NHL being MIRED IN MEDIOCRITY... And with this coach, keep expecting the same results each year!!! They got really REALLY lucky with Michkov and are primed with all these upcoming 1st & 2nd round picks but it's pointless if they end up middle of the pack EACH YEAR!!! With a young rebuilding team, you need more of a player's coach who leads more through RESPECT than through FEAR!!!

Just rated y’all on Spotify, great video. And let’s be honest if ever a year to do this it was this year, they still have two firsts and it’s not a crazy Good draft so picking mid isn’t a killer, the young players needed to experience this and management needed to see the team in the situation to see who is who. Now they know for sure who they need to add and who they need to subtract. This team is young and it’s not a contender yet but if they make a few moves they can be a legitimate playoff team, then add mitchkov they could be a contender. This team is closer to who they were in January than who they are now. But moves need to be made. 2025 draft is deep and a good rated draft and they have two picks in the first round and two more in the second and we still have a year until that draft. This 2025 draft will shape this team

Thank you so much!! Yeah drafts are tough. There’s a chance to get a top player, but probably not a franchise guy. Agreed that next years draft will be huge…3 years of consecutive double first round picks should be enough to restock the entire farm system. We’ll see how things turn out

And I think they’re slowly getting them through the draft. Michkov and Bonk was a nice start last year. 4 picks in the 1st round the next 2 years….. need to hit there. I think right now we’re seeing what we have as support pieces. And I think we’re good with depth but yes…. Need some top line talent to add to this group and we’ll be fine.
