Two thumbs up for Harry & his wife. Mr. K your paint job came out awesome & Harry knocked it out of the park with the detail on the figure.

I was going for white but I said, “what the heck” and glad I did. Gray turned out better than expected. Would have looked cool with white too.

I like the color of the jeep , but Harry knocked it out of the park with the driver. That’s the best I’ve ever seen a Wild Willy driver look.

I'm so glad I found this video. It's certainly helpful and gives us a good insight about the build. This will be my first build and I think the paint will cost more than the car. idk ? You did such a great job and the driver looks awesome. ❤🏆

Your Willy looks great (Excuse this old and stale joke). The color scheme in combination with this gorgeous painted figure is outstanding. In my opinion the Wild Willy body is more like a static model than a RC car. Especially when you go futher and fill out the spare can, the extinquisher and maybe the whole roll cage. If you had not enough at this point you can cut out the front grill, lower the body and order tons of blingbling for this kit. I wanted to build mine as a fun basher and it ended up as a shelf queen with what felt like a year to build and hop ups worth a month's wages.

Exactly… I thought I would bang this out in a weeks time but that def was not the case.

hmmm, wondered what the difference between the original and the 2nd, as I figured it's basically just removing the 2nd servo and mechanical speed controller mount, maybe a tweak here and there. I had the original waaaaaay back as a kid and was pretty much a first (and only) basher for me. Had many great runs with it, aside from killing the servos keep driving through puddles.
@tallguygaming4092 жыл бұрын
new one is just a comical chassis and same body i believe
@foxracerdrew2 жыл бұрын
@@tallguygaming409 which is just the original willy chassis with the 2nd servo mounting position and pushrod esc mount removed.
@RCRetro2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the comment and memory. To answer your question, the OG Wild Willy and Willy 2 are completely different chassis. However, both are designed with one thing in mind...to pop wheelies when you hit the throttle.
@tallguygaming4092 жыл бұрын
The first wild willy chassis is closer to a lunch box chassis then it is to the new comical chassis. They are nothing alike
@j0hnnykn0xv1lle2 жыл бұрын
The only thing I'd change is the jerry can, I'd maybe go, red, rubber black, white, or gray to match the wheels. Green is OK, but you've got no other green on the Willy and you veered off the box theme. It just looks a little out of place. You could maybe paint the jerry can in a similar theme to the driver.
@tallguygaming4092 жыл бұрын
i agree but he didnt want me to paint it for some reason. i woulda went red myself

Looks good, the driver really suits the colour scheme and the painting up is amazing (and thats coming from the right side of the Atlantic 😂) Maybe try and get a decal for the centre of the spare wheel cover? Someone with a vinyl cutter could run you off an RC Retro logo, for instance?
@tallguygaming4092 жыл бұрын
we tryd to get a decal done but i didnt like the way it lookd and ari agreed so we didnt put it on.
