E3 2009: Wolfenstein Stage Demo

August 4th I will say, this definitely look like an awesome shooter, really liked Return to castle Wolfenstein so it'll be cool to see this continue from that game. Multiplayer looks sick too, will definitely be picking this up in august, its gonna be a busy month for games I'll tell you that.

One thing I loved about Return to Castle Wolfenstein was the atmosphere and the cool sets (for lack of a better term) that you got to explore. Paderborn Village, for example, where you had to sneak around like a cat burglar, and the mansion where you climbed up to the roof to snipe soldiers through the skylights. I don't have the PS3 version yet but I hope it has similarly fascinating and well thought out environments to explore.

I loved rtcw amigo for all of it's awesome moments including the Stealth segments...they were a lot of fun...rtcw was still my most favorite game and the best one in the series....I still play it to this day

@ProjectOmega05 Wolfenstein 3D came out on May 5, 1992. Doom came out on December 10, 1993.

the first release date was 7/30/09, then it was delayed to 8/18/09 now the official release date is 8/4/09

I hope this time the game uses vsynch on the 360, cause is one of the biggest fault programers do with fps games on the 360, causing tearing on my lcd tv, cause most all games have not vsynch. Good work, and thanks to activision for releasing this game.

that veil seight or how ever it's spelled, i think they are copying it off of Prey. They used something like it but it was called spirit seight or something rather and it also showed ways out of a puzzle like veil seight does on here

Wolfenstein was the first FPS on a personal computer and was a disciple to gaming then RTCW came out and was perfect, but now people are insisting that COD series was better. I personally think that story-wise and characters, Wolfenstein a better game, meanwhile COD is just a Great Game with meaningful plot pace, weapons, characters and is a Graphical Machine

how does the sound come before the bullets? bullet travel at supersonic speed, so the sound should be there a bit after the bullet flew by you.

i already have it singleplayer is alot of fun, but if your an old wolfenstein fan and played rtcw then you will see some of the changes like the open world gameplay, i hvae not been able to play on live yet because if i do i will get banned, but if you liked the old games youll love this one and if your a new comer youll also have a great time playing

People, just because this game looks like CoD does not mean it is ripping it off and its going to suck. CoD and Fallout are not the only FPS in the world you know! Get up off your butts and get more variety! I for one think this looks like a kick ass game and it is going to be on my wishlist!

Actually no its not Modern warfare 2 anymore. They did a survey on how many more people recognized it as Call of Duty and the majority knew it as Call of duty so it is now being released as Call of Duty - Modern warfare 2

Can't wait!!! And just to let y'all know, Call of Duty is basically the most popular online and off game ever. It is only natural for games to add elements that mimick the Call of Duty style. Lots of good games resemble it for example: Rainbow 6 Vegas 2, Killzone, Ghost Recon blah balh ect ect.

I mostly care about multiplayer for PC. I haven't played CoD or the rtcw much but for like Ironsight versus non-Ironsight I hope they balance it. So one can use both.

Finished Wolfenstien in 1 day. Best Wolfenstien to date. Before I got the game, I kept reading reviews saying that the plot's got nothing to do with previous Wolfs?? All I can say to that is that they've got no idea what they're talking about! So many references to Return & Wolf 3D it's RO-diculous! However I thought the idea of the 'Golden Dawn' playing the role of the "Good guys" as somewhat misleading, seeing they're one of the most evil secret societies in real life.

this game looks really amaxzing, the graphics are really good, the weapons are fantastic, and the aiming system and how you play is like incrredible this game is a mixture of call of duty world at war and bioshock, more of the bioshock gameplay, but like a calll of duty world at war story, since the storyline is set in world war 2, this is a must get game for me

Bio Shock was 1960's, and It was a copy of Fallout 3, and Wolfenstein was realesed way before Bioshock, so this is basicly nothing like it

THIS GAME IS FUCKING AWSOME!!! Ive played the originals like Wolfenstein, Wolfenstein 3D, Return to Castle Wolfenstein, Wolfenstein: Spear of Destiny. And this one is just EPIC, the graphics are excellent, physics are fucking sweet, meaning blood and limbs coming off. Ive just past the the Hospital and Cannery Part and have killed General Zetta. So tommorow get further until school comes back and have to get back to studies. Well to wrap it all up....Game gets a 10/5 stars in my book!

I have an Atihd4850 wich cost around 140US$, the games that are comming out are just outdated in terms of graphics and thats because of the console market, the consoles made the developers to make the same graphics for the new games, I buy my pc a year ago and is still blowing that games at max settings!!!!looking way better and smooth than consoles
