Wouldn't installing a LSD be a better option. Quaife sales them for lots of BMW models. I never looked at drifting as a real form of racing. It's more of a exhibition race. It's fun to watch and will really hone your driving skills that's for sure.

Nah welded diff all day for consistent control of the rear and for the price. I don’t have $2,000 for a fancy LSD when welding the diff is free

Welded diff, tons of front camber, little toe out, rear end almost straight. Lots of clutch kicks 🤣 that’s what I have learned so far lol
