Great video I’m actually doing the same job was putting the supercharger back and on the drivers slide at the back of supercharger I connected the coolant pipe and the electrical sensor but on the passenger side I can’t seem to find or remember what plugs in to the port at the back

5:57 may I know what is this part and where exactly does this go..? I have this part fall loose in between supercharger an engine block. I opened everything to change the water pump and thermostat. But after seeing this part loose in that area I found it would be a problem. Kindly let me know what is that product and where does that go. 5.0 v8 is my vehicle.

Great video. Question I don't see answered or asked much, do you leave the battery hooked up for this? If not, is it just like any other car where you just disconnect the negative and you're good to go?

@@itsheresy Battery negative terminal connected. 8 amp trickle charger always connected to vehicle to make sure battery doesn’t go below 12.6V. Any car that’s in my bay for over 2 hours always gets charger connected to it.

@@xuehaotan9292 paint marker from Amazon. Once bolt is torque to spec it always gets a Green mark to make sure . On connectors they all get green marks also to make sure nothing is missed upon re-assembly.

Before i start removing everything, do i have to take the coolant out from somewhere? i was lookign to completely empty all the coolant and replace it with a different one as i couldnt find the original brand thats currently being used. @@therealcyrus lower radiator hose. Remove it. Coolant will drain. Make sure to only use OE Land Rover coolant ! Not aftermarket. 50/50 mix with distilled water.

Why did you take off the intake when you can get to that piece behind the water pump without doing that? I just chnaged the water pump and that piece and its still leaking, I wonder if I messed up that seal when I put it in??

@@E39M5SPEED Do you have any excperience with the aluminum aftermarket coolant pipes for JLR 3liter and some 5 liter motors? I've been looking at Euro Amp that offers them and RXK which are supposed to be made in Europe. Metal seems better than plastic if it fits. What say you?
