The nrg short hub should come with a resistor(red/black). There’s a plug behind your steering column with 2 yellow wires( yellow usually means airbags) you have to depin these 2 wires, which isn’t very hard, then the nrg resistor will plug in. I taped up the 2 wires separately so the metal wouldn’t contact and tucked them away. Plug your connector back in and you’re good to go. If you’re not using the resistor that came with the nrg, it’s a 3ohm resistor (.20 cents at hardware store)

You have to take a 9v battery and close the loop at the connector(s) you pulled. One for each.
