The boost in the supercharged car is not instant, so the graph will not show a grow of power like a turbo setup.

Thanks for the advice, I believe the supercharger also only builds full boost at full RPM

4th gear is 1 to 1. Have you compression tested? Your injectors were new or old? If old, I would clean and flow balance the injectors. I would also leak test the motor since these are prone to vacuum leaks. If all is good then octane boost to try and get to 93-95 octane using a gallon or 2 of E85 or consider converting to E85. I would also check inline fuel filter and replace the in-tank fuel pump. That’s just my 2 cents. Something is wrong here....you should at a minimum make 220-230WHP on a decent motor.

I haven't cleaned the injectors, fuel pump is new it's a deatschwerks but fuel filter is a couple years old,I ended up doing a boost leak test found a ba leak. I'm posting the new video today. Thanks for the advice, check out the video, please subscribe

@@acef_performance8416 would change that inline filter since it regulates pressure and is added peace of mind. I would also pull injectors and clean and flow balance. You would be surprised how little mileage these injectors can have and become clogged. Glad you found the issue. Will look for your next video and will sub.

I am using the ones recommended by VF the part number is BKR7E by NGK. I always run NGK. I made a video called “Best supercharger upgrades” it’s on my channel check it out

Hey I just finished installing the VF supercharger. I’m looking for someone to tune the car and I first need a base mapping on the DME. After weeks of speaking with VF they now are telling me they wont tune the car bc I have headers, exhaust, and 330i intake manifold. Can you recommend anyone who would do a base mapping on my DME? Can’t even start the car without it.

Do you have an Instagram we can chat on my Instagram is @lui328i , I also have the same set up header and exhaust and 330 manifold they asked me the same question and they made it clear that it’s not tuned for those things but they still gave me the tune, but you should be able to run the car on the stock tune no problem just don’t get on boost aka over like 2500-3000rpm

changing the vanos seals is not hard ! you dont have to do the camshaft timing thing,there are lot of videos in youtube how the procedure is ! im still waiting of my seals and do the same at my 320 i , because my car have lose power !

nice to see american people who drives german cars ! use higher quality spark plugs !!! e 46 bmw are fun to drive . what horsepower does the car before,did that car reach the factory horsepower !!! check everything before :is the Vanos new (use new Beisan Systems o rings),is the KGE dense ( have leaks!!!) , does the Disa work correct ? its an 20 years old car you have to change the Vanos seals to reach the factory horsepower ! but nice car,and nice turbo construktion ! i think 230 - 250 horsepower are possible with a good turbo !

I rebuilt the vanos about 4 years ago, it was more than the factory power but not as good, check out the next video found bad boost leak.

Definitely something wrong. And im not sure why they were doing 4th gear pulls. 5th is a 1 to 1 ratio. I have same excat car so 108 is top of 4th gear.

Have you dyno your car? did you do a 5th gear pull? Is your car supercharged?

@@acef_performance8416 i haven't dyno my car, its bone stock. But i have seen multiple videos where they do 5th gear pulls on e46s and other cars where they do 5th gear pulls, because its a 1 to 1 ratio. Though i am still fairly new to all of this so i could be wrong. Even so your supercharger should be making boost and in the video it doesn't seem like it is. What stage is it?
