Hi Tenza, I've watched both of your videos on superchargers - the Active Autowerke and the VF Charger. I am crossed, I both see pros and cons to both. Over the past few months, do you lean to one over the other. I have 2002 BMW 325i in excellent engine health so I could go either way. It would be great to see a pros/cons video on these superchargers

Thanks for this ..I'm installing this on my z4 m54b30. Question, did you change the bypass valve? Is the VF one ok? I know your other 330i is around 400whp. How's it running? Love the channel

Sorry for the late response!! We went with the complete Vf kit. We didn’t swap out anything. Jealous you’re doing this on a z4. Those are awesome cars.

Really curious, based on your experience, which of the kits do you like better? The VF or AA one?

One more question, how did you install the AFR? Did you add another bung to the exhaust manifold? Appreciate your response!

The VF kit is very, very VERY linear, feeling consistent power gain throughout the rev range. The AA kit has a little bit more of a power band to it. I’m gonna do more comparison side-by-side this upcoming spring. I haven’t had a lot of seat time in the VF car. Where the cars are around 100 hp different than each other. I obviously lean more towards the AA kit. It’s an interesting question and I’m hoping to expound on that answer more this year! We used to post cat O2 sensor bungs for the AFR. Direct fit and a perfect location.

Is this kit feel faster then the active autowerkes more reliable any easier to install compared to active what are the pros and cons with this kit compared to the active kit

Well my stage 2 AA kit was harder than this VF because the intercooler. The hardest parts of both these are the charge pipe that goes to both the throttle body and ICV. I feel like they are about the same difficulty wise on that task. In terms of power. Again I have the stage 2. So they aren’t comparable. The only thing I’ve noticed is the AA builds boost faster over all. So take that as you will.
