How did you make it crackle?

Its trial and error. I have multiple bmws with exhaust. Depends on the engine and exhaust setup you run. I cant get these crackles on a v8. If this setup was not true dual straight piped after the cats. it probably would not have the crackle/backfire.. this specific is an 05 model and im sure other 530s from 04-10 have the same dual header setup. 1 header 1 cat per 3 cylinders. Making true dual straight pipe job pretty easy on these

Any shop will run you 400$ minimum to cut after cats and 02s. And replace all of it with stainless straight pipe.

Cant say for sure. If i drove it nicely and didn't get stuck in traffic all day i averaged 26 to 28 mpg on the freeway. Had the car for 6 months and someone rear ended me and it has been totaled... I have a new 2010 550i msport I am uploading a video for that straight pipe setup

This car had true dual straight pipe after header/cat combo. Resonators were removed. Each header went directly into a cat. 1 for 3 cylinders. Removing the resonator did NOT give me a CEL.

It's steam, it's cold a bit more smoke comes out then and bcs of sensor it was using more gas. If oil burns with gas then blue smoke comes out not white.
