@ColdAchilles if i do that sync + eject test. it goes from the one red light to 4 red lights all blinking at the same speed. What is going on here?

@GameTutsModding why would it be my 360 and not anything to do with my hdd. why would my graphics processor be messed up if it can play the game normally without the hdd?? :S

ok i kinda have the same problem as ColdAchilles except mine doesnt freeze but when i do the sync test its all four red lights at the same speed, does this mean i also have to send mine in?

wait the boot and system stuff is all stored on the hdd? what connection does it use? is it sata, ide, what is it?

it didn't seem to work for me.... i put the hdd back in when a 360 game was running (i heard the disc tray) and the xbox restarted but im still stuck at that BLOODY frozen start up screen!
