E83, Safe T Plus and bus maintenance.

We increase the safety of our bus in case of a blow out with a Safe T Plus. While under the bus we also changed the oil and lubed the chassis.

Interesting....a remarketed steering damper. Some vehicles may already have one so double check before you buy one.

Great project! I'm a big fan of your videos. I travel in a 40 ft Diesel Pusher and would love to build a bus like yours. I am concerned about turning radius and ground clearance. Do you have trouble getting into campsites or Walmarts, etc with inclines or small hills. I would love to hear about your experiences with this issue. Thanks!!

We use Lucas Red and Tacky.

Put one on last year... still making adjustments to it... have one more 1/16 more and I think it will be dead on..

We didn’t need to adjust anything. If you need to make continuous adjustments, take a look for loose tie rod ends, bushings, and king pins. Also make sure your alignment is within spec.

I’ve never experienced a blow out on a steer tire. With that said, I’ve driven buses and trucks with alignments so bad, that if a tire blew you would not able to control the vehicle. That would raise the question, if a properly maintained vehicle would benefit from this? Or, how would it benefit? Remember, if you’re fighting your vehicle to stay straight and it’s pulling or all over due to alignment or work components, how will it handle during a blow out, even if you have something like the object you installed?

Not a steering damper like on a Jeep, it has internal springs that keep it centered. On est jamais si bien servi que par soit même.
