Best money I spent on the Gen 2 so far. I chose to go with a custom tune from Taylor at Snail Performance in AZ and Dyno was 200 hp at the wheels on 91 octane stock no tune and after tune with E85 it hit 235. All I have is K&N Typhoon intake and AWE touring cat back exhaust. My only regret is not putting on the OTL headers as it will help increase HP by 20 hp at mid rpm range which flattens out that dip and gives you more low end power. I will be doing that next and retune.

Otl header wont give you 255hp with tune. Full bolt ons on e85 max whp so far has been with delicious tuning at 245

Cant you just put E85 straight in the tank with a tune without doing all the flex fuel stuff? Wouldnt that be a lot cheaper, easier? And no dyno's?

The computer needs to know how much fuel to throw at it based on all other functions of the car, you can’t just put it in and expect it to run perfectly. Even turbo charging naturally aspirated cars require a tune in order to run properly or else you can destroy the engine

If these are anything like the old generation, yes, you can just toss in E85 and drive it. The caveat is that you need to fill it with E85 when the tank is basically empty. As you said, without the sensors this kit offers, you can't just run any mixture of gasoline and E85@@Reptile789

Yea you can, but you need to fill it with E85 where the gas tank is basically empty, since your car is going to be Tuned for E85 and not some mixture of gasoline and E85. Would it be cheaper? Sure, but why not get a tune dedicated to your vehicle, and where you drive instead of some off the shelf tune that is generic? But in the end, are the savings worth you having to always have to find E85 to fill up, or would it be easier to just get a flex fuel kit, and you can fill up gasoline or E85 and mix it however you like.
