E85 (ETHANOL) BEFORE YOU SWITCH!

This is how my valves look like after a couple thousand miles. Running a couple of pump gas every month or 2 is a good idea. You are probably going to get your content down to E10 but that's ok. Make sure you switch your map if you are flexing fuels. This will prolong your engine in the long run 🤙

E85 burns cleaner and cooler which reduces carbon buildup regardless of injection type. No matter what, you will have carbon buildup with direct injection.

If your NA what all do you need to properly run ethanol. I heard all you really need is injectors and an ethanol content analyzer so you know what e% your at. Also I heard EcuTek had an update so it automatically switches maps appropriately depending on you e%. Thanks for the video man!

You are good with the GTR injectors but you will want to run a bigger pump I would go 340 or 450 . 450 IMHO so u dint have to go back and change it. You don't necessarily need a flex fuel kit unless you are going to dedicate your car strictly to ethanol but I highly recommend you Flex Fuel so that you can clean out your valve's just like what I'm doing

If you run pump gas then switch back over to the E85 map to fill up on ethanol, Would it be okay if it ends up at a different mixture such as E50-E60 etc if your map is for E85? Considering its not really practical to use every last drop of gas. So once you fill up with ethanol theres still going to be a couple gallons of gasoline in the tank.

Yes, with the flexfuel kit, it just makes your injectors stay open some % longer to make it stoich. Different percent of e changes how long the injectors are open

Before you get tuned make sure you get all your bolt on parts. You don't want to go back and return you should do it all at once. If you decide to go boost you need to buy everything you need including supporting mods ect. If you're staying natural make sure you get all your bolts on parts and then get tuned

yo, which oil catch can did you use? I just got the add w1 catch cans but they come as a closed unvented system, and i was constantly tolled i wanted a open vented system for a boosted vq. can i turn my closed system into an open vented system?

The filter is inside the oil catch can. Yes you can but the idea is to get one house from the PCV that goes to the oil catch pan and from the oil catch can to a vacuum on the back of the intake manifold.

Ecutek allows you to use an app. On the app you can switch to different maps. On the app you can performance logs and clear codes as well. There is also a performance analyzer.
