What I usually do is unplug the fuel pump relay and start the car until it doesnt start due to no fuel, obv dot hat before taking everything off

Hey bro good video. 1 question why didn't you change your dampers? Our engines have 3 of them 1 on each side of the fuel rail and the other on the fuel line that attaches to the fuel rail. I'm currently changing them

If u plan on building ur engine but don’t drive the car much at all, planning to get tuned eventually. Would it be a bfd if u did aftermarket/performance coil packs, plugs, injectors but no tune? Only got a catback as of rn.

You have to prime your car before you start it just press the push start twice and it sends fuel through the system so that a couple times then start the car 🤙

If you remember..idk if you still have the car or anything but I just replaced the fuel damper bc of the damn noise and I couldn't do it myself bc a lot of parts are still in kansas we're still in the middle of moving but now I'm hearing the same tapping on the other side of my car! The mechanic says I have another fuel damper/regulator on the fuel rail..is that true?? Did you see it? Those round things between the injectors look very similar to the damper piece

The f*&%* me is so relatable, especially when you have to replace the demon exhaust bolts... My Z has been a blast to drive but PITA to going through the mods and navigating through the tight spaces. Thanks for the great video man. I've been chasing O2 sensor, Misfire, and now running lean on bank 2 codes. I'd replaced plugs & coil packs; this is what I'm going to do next before considering changing my whole fuel system since the stock plastic parts are so crap.

Factory injectors don’t need a tune only if you go with bigger aftermarket injectors

Hey bro, how can you tell which fuel injector is bad just by looking? How much did you pay for all 6 oem fuel injectors and did you fix the problem? My 2010 370z nismo has the same code and I already changed spark plugs, coil pack, camshaft sensors and CEL is still on! Thx bro.

I had that same issue. The first few steps are the same as this but then you take off the head covers to change the gasket. It was my first time working on anything engine related and opening up the engine like that so it was a tense experience lol. Actually never checked to see if it stopped leaking or not though, so that's probably something I should check on

it can be. I had that code and I had a leak from fuel injector 3 & 5. Misfire was showing in the data (OBD) I cleaned them up, bought new seals and no more misfire.

Start with the basics, fuel air and spark, he already swapped out both spark issues (plugs and coils), he didn’t check for air leaks (air hoses) but usually a visual inspection is all you need for that, lastly is fuel injectors . If that all comes out clean then most likely a harness or wiring issue. If it had any other issue it would’ve triggered some more codes

Damn.. really wish you made this sooner. I had to pay Infiniti $800 to change one fuel injector because of the same misfire. There’s no gasket that goes under the plenum where you have all that blue tape?
