Hey man! I know you did this video about 2 months ago, but thanks for posting this video. I recently switched from 93 to e85 and have a tune for each from PBD. When switching from e85 to 93, are you just running the tank to empty, filling it with 93 then tuning it?

Yes, I forgot to mention that in the video but you just need to run it as close to empty as possible then fill up 93 and swap the tune

I got a 2010 impala and E85 seems to have gave my car a tune up because before on a cold start it would misfire now it starts strong and my idle is smooth. I think ill stay running e85 i dont care about the few mpg difference

How much extra horsepower do you gain running E-85 versus 93 octance premium fuel?

The difference can be anywhere from 15-25hp for n/a applications (give or take)

@@anthony5.012 If its only 15-25 Horsepower gains I dont thinks its worth it having to change your cars tune from 93 octane to E85 with a Lund Tune wich is going to cost much more like $350 in my area for a Lund N gauge tuner to run E85.

@@Texas_C8 Yeah your not wrong it is a lot of money for not that much hp but it’s still really good power gains for just putting different fuel in the car. It’s once you pair it with other modifications that make the difference!

E85 has about 70% of the energy of regular fuel. So not one third, but about one third LESS.
