I went E85 on my GTI. MPG went from 30mpg to 20mpg. But with a huge increase in horsepower. Definitely worth it.

I would imagine the cheaper price + extra fuel of E85 ends up being the same price as using 91-93, meanwhile you make more power on E85.

Not quite, if you aren’t too crazy, you will save more than running premium. But most of us running e85 do runs and just get every last bike, more power for less price. But somewhat yes, it honestly depends on the driver and the car. Personally I’ve saved around 10% from e85, calculated for my one month usage compared by each other. I typically fill up 2 times a month, both with e85 and 93. 85 costs per fill up for myself was 45 and for 93 57. E85 I was running fine filled up twice in one month, same with 93. So personally my mileage was varies, sometimes low to 18mpg but typically my average was 22. Just saying the tank will hold enough.

gas is $6.50 a gallon now. I pay $3.80 for ethanol. 2012 work Van and it's about the same gas mileage.

Been running e85 in my f150 since 2011 and it's been great, parked it with 270k miles still running and only thing ever had to replace was fuel pump back at 130k miles.

Higher octane doesn’t equate to higher horsepower. Higher octane fuel will not offer any better fuel mileage, increase engine horsepower, or make the engine start quicker. Higher octane only increases the likelihood that the combustion will be controlled, and your engine will perform as it was designed

I have a 2008 flex fuel Chevy Malibu the E 85 where I live it’s about $2, So I guess up the whole tank with about $25 my car runs a little faster and the gas mileage is honestly about the same as regular gas

Yeah my 16 stang gets around 9 to 10 miles a gallon in the city between 17 to 20 on the highway

I'm around 6 feet tall, heavy set and it is pretty roomy to be honest. Only problem I run into is that i cant have anything in my right side pockets because my leg is really close to the E brake. My first car was a 99 Mustang GT and the S550 is way more comfy and roomy than it by a long shot.

No issue, light on with the long tubes and no cats. Car was tuned but SCT is no longer allowed to tune out a check engine light. Have to go with an ngauge for that.

Always check with dealers first 👌🏾 and look up magnuson mods warranty act. Dealer has to prove the modification you made was the cause of the problem you are having 🤟🏽

no incorrect, for 2015-2017 you need 47lb injectors, e85 tune, and aftermarket intake manifold

@@bronzebacksnatcher5163 wrong...you need to change injector if you have a aftermarket intake(manifold) due to increased air...if you're running a completely stock motor intake( manifold)then all you need is a e85 tune.

You’re too cautious with the gasoline. Relax bro, most newer mustangs can run on E-15 which has ethanol in it anyway. You act like the car was gonna blow up just staring with the tune and E-85 lmao. On a newer mustang you can run E-85 with just a tune too, you don’t need to change anything unless the car has been modded. Srry I keep seeing people say it’s only for Gen 3 coyote and that’s not true lol. You can tune a Gen 2 15-17 mustang gt for e-85 too. It when you start changing other stuff you have to get bigger injectors

I did a ported 18 manifold on my 16 GT. Also have lu47 injectors Lund 93 tune and Corsa Xtreme catback. I did get a flex fuel tune and e85 tune on my rtd though. E85 is far from me. I'm thinking about going flex fuel but I don't know a ton about switching over. Idk if I need an e85 sensor.

I'm leaving mine stock and barely driving her.. They are already sicko fast from the factory.. To each his own.. But this is a prime example of a used car I wouldn't want to buy!! I am so happy I got a garage kept 2017 with only 9K on her.. No Mod's and E85 experiments.. Thank God.. I didn't want to get something some one experimented on, Or a car with 3 owner's who turned it up and beats the piss out of their cars.. God I feel very lucky... I almost made that mistake and bought one that was already Mod'ed and if it was Mod'ed more than likely it was beaten...
