There are plenty of high quality games that run on Frostbite - it’s about developers, not engines. Sure, they’re both football games created by EA. But it’s an entirely different team working on this one and it sure sounds like they want to keep it set apart from madden

If you think the game's graphics look on par with other AAA titles that have come out in 2023 and 2024... Cool. How good something does or doesn't look is ultimately objective. But this looks like an early era PS4 game in my opinion.

I know it. I made the same mistake recently with City Skylines 2. I bought it right away and it was (and is) a mess. People are reacting like I told them to boycott the game, which I obviously didn't. All I said was "wait a month". Let real people play the game and see what they say. You are right. NCAA had always been a slightly modded reskinned Madden. But back during the original run of the game, Madden was good. If you haven't played Madden since 2018, you might not be aware of how *awful* it is now. That's the entire point I was making on the show

@@SloopCast to be more clear, it wasnt just a different EA dev team. They had an entirely separate sudio under contract that focused purely on the NCAA game. They may have used the Madden framework but it was a complete overhaul. I religiously played both series back in the day and they did not look and feel the same. Even the running animations were unique. You can tell from the new trailer that moat of thr player movement is copy and pasted from Madden.
