Apex losing it's casual players is what started the serious downfall of the game. So many people disagree but getting rid of arenas was the beginning to it all. I met so many people from work or out in public who'd casually play apex for arenas that have now completely abandoned Apex.

Marvel rivals seems ok, but I hate the third person perspective, deadlock took my attention a little, but also TPS. I'm waiting CS2 to not be shit to come back. One thing alot of corporations/successful people *know*, is that it's harder to gain new users, than it is to retain current users. So you can't afford to go taking them for granted and making it an easy exit for them. (hence why it's hard to unsubscribe to paid things, and why they offer you a discount when you try to unsub sometimes). So it's in your best interest at every decision to put the customers first if you care about longevity and real success that can leapfrog to another great success. But instead EA is going to take their success and squander it. Sinking the very ship they built and now stay afloat on, they will go down with the ship. Good for Moy for such a committed stay and I hope he finds another great career at another, better-kept company. : ) & hopefully Apex doesn't achieve all new lows come the end of this season.

Apex was probably the best FPS ever made. But like any "Business" when you don't realize "New Customers" are just as, if not more important as the current customers, your days are numbered. You must have new "Clientele" not only to grow, but to also replace customers that leave. The lack of actual SBMM makes Apex totally unfriendly to new, low skilled, and casual players. Nobody enjoys getting destroyed by players far above their skill level, and this is what's been happening for a long time. Sure, there's other reasons Apex has gone down hill, such as EA's extremely poor management and greed, but especially now with the declining player base, it should be obvious how important it is to bring in new players, as well as giving low skilled and causl players an enjoyable experience.

As a day 1 player I quit a few seasons ago. I play path of exile 2 every second I get. Everything players wanted in a game like Diablo Poe implemented and went above and beyond expectations. Also Marvel rivals is my other constant game choice. Apex isn't even a consideration anymore.

What is 1 cheater in 100 matches compared to a cheater in every single match? DMA cheats aren't easily accessible, and spammable, like CronusZen, Xim, and other cheater devices that make it EASY to cheat, so long as you have the money. Hence why the game is so bad, and infested with closet cheaters. Blame the mass cheating devices that allow massive amounts of people to cheat. Will it stop them all? No. But it would drastically improve all games across the board. Ban the use of scripts, configs, and macros. It's literally that simple, you're just here to defend these ways of cheating and you know it.

EA stock went down because biowares dragon age failed and their sports game wich for the first time ever was not called FIFA anymore also failed. Dragon age only reached half the player they expected the game to reach making it a 50% loss just by the numbers alone and then you have to consider the refunds as well! 1.5 million people engaged with the game and probably 1 million copies sold for a franchise that big... massive failure overall! Apex is probably doing the best out of all the EA games companies when it comes to recent games! Don't get your hopes up. Stop coping.
