I remember nba live 2006 or something had all time stats and leaderboards, career stats, all player stats in the league. I've always wished to have detailed stats like that in fifa, it was so easy to see how your career has progressed. It actually felt like a career not like fifa where it just feels like your simply playing season to season

To be honest people expect way too much from EA developers. The engine is old and the development framework has been the same for like a decade, I bet it's the same dev team too. Not much to improve without rebooting the franchise in an overhauled engine. There's also the fact that these guys have less than a year to work on the next iteration. Every FIFA being a copy paste sounds about right when you take all these facts into consideration. That being said, I'll stick to my cracked copy of FIFA 23.

Idk if anyone else experiences this, but I can’t seem to understand how defensive AI works. In Fifa 17, defenders would be able to steal the ball or challenge just by being in proximity. Even when you weren’t controlling them. Now, players will stare at the ball that is half a foot away and not budge (very “realistic”). I’ve never been great at Fifa, but the learning curve is wicked steep with defending this year, and it feels like I gotta re learn it after 23.

@@jamesfuller7184 seems like I was partly mistaken. Defenders are busted OP, but only if you let the computer do everything. Pressure tactics are crazy and you don’t need to do anything (game plays itself). Manually defending is harder without a doubt. If you go in for a challenge, you need to time it perfectly, otherwise your player still glide 5 yards with no recovery. Whole game is a mess and gameplay sucks. Watch some more videos from streamers who give honest takes like inception or NickRTFM. Game is dead before TOTY…

For anyone new to this: EA purposely leave career mode stale, (and other 1p modes), because they want everyone playing FUT as that’s where the money is for them. They don’t give a cr@p whether you enjoy 1p or not. If playing online I recommend seasons, since at least it’s a fair team selection.

This is the exact same game as last year……….players suddenly become super slow, face/hand blocks (who jumps up and the blocks the ball with there face/hands running full speed looking at the defender. It defies physics and happens 30x a game online), ball has a mind of its own and it’s your turn to score you will and if it isn’t you won’t. Pre-determined outcomes. 11 years of horrible fifa. I downloaded efootball and they only have 25 teams total. What other soccer games are there cause I’m willing to try them out

Honestly I'm rarely vexed but when are we going to call a spade a spade. I grew up lucky to have the joys of new PES and Fifa games each improving on the last each different. The genuine dedication of pes to create an actual sim for purists (the PC mods make it look real incredible, if only they had licenses sigh) and the genuine enjoyment of past fifa games and the licencing just making it ace. The money making scam monopoly that now exists churning out the same garbage broken game for hundreds of millions franchise knowing ppl will buy it and as a result no driver to actually develop and create a fixed realistic game no just slap a sticker here change a few menus and now next level get rid of the one cut scene that actually had to stay. Its sad that we have no purchasing choice here and the commercial machine rolls on like a fan buying a football shirt regardless of how crap it is. If it was a car it would be recalled over and over its that bad. Oh and now each year they are on BBC national radio as a feature marketing promoting the release(!) and sounding smug about how iconic the game is. Its really gone too far now. Thanks EA.

That’s just how it is. Same as last year. You can tell when your going to lose………your players get really slow and on offense they don’t do anything. You can also tell when your going to win because your offensive players make superb runs and your defense feels fast. Your defense will also come back. In games where your SUPPOSED to lose, it’s one on one with their strikers and your four defenders. No matter the system, it’s all the same

On this game when your on the downside of the script, Davies is a 95 pace and even he turns into a turtle. He gets stuck and loses the ball. Haven’t bought a fifa game since 2014 been looking to get back into it. Should I buy fc 24?

Save your money. It will take u about 3 weeks to the see the “pattern” on online seasons and then u can’t unsee it. It’s so scripted. After 10 mins your players will get either really fast or really slow. That is how you know if your SUPPOSED to win that game or SUPPOSED to lose it. It’s up to the cpu

So im a legendary difficult level player and have been playing since fifa 16 and i can say that the game series has gone downhill a lot. The most broken thing is division rivals. Like every time i play i play very well and get tons of changes but the gk saves every shot and when my opponent comes for 1 attack he scores. That has repeated to me every game and the end stats are usually like 15 to 5 shots and guess the scoreline you might think i gotta win the game like 5 1 but ooh noo i LOOSE by like 1 5 so yea that is my very healty gameplay situklation

They can stop making games every year, thats the reason the cant make any serious and real improvements they dont have enough time, all they have to do is make the previous game update each year and they can take atleast 3 years to make a new and improved one

wait .. are they using the exact same ref/ red / yellow card animations as last year ... it triggered me every time a ref made a call and it was the exact same animations every time .. i actually cant believe that if its true ..

I play offline with my friends most of the time, and personally this game currently is absolutely terrible. Reactions feel slow and laggy, defending is an absolute nightmare regardless of what players you have in your defence. Haaland EXTREMELY over powered. User interface is absolute terrible feels like I’m playing PES. Can’t change controller settings anymore to manually change players during game play and choose what you’d like assisted or not assisted during gameplay. The games feel extremely scripted, it’s the worst experience. I really hope with the update

Every year i ask myself.. why they dont give the players the possibilities to co-op all modes in the game. Im sure there would be a market both youtubers and others. Both NHL and EA FC are missing this feature since they exist. Dont know why this can be hard to edit. Would open up career modes with friends. Play together in the same team or team each. Or play cups, tournament mode etc. Every year they dont care.. how many are working on these titles? Cant be that difficult

You can play co op in seasons online or in friendlies, theres co op in Ultimate team and there’s pro clubs and Volta online that’s pretty much every mode in the game you can play with a friend online right there 👍🏼

The gameplay is god awful, your players feel clunky and slow meanwhile everyone on the other team has 99 pace, as you go for standing tackles your players completely miss the ball, defenders who you aren’t controlling just run out the way of attackers leaving them with an open net, goal keepers have the ability of Cal the dragon, World Class is to easy but Legendary is just way to hard/scripted, everytime you tackle someone the ball just goes straight back to them which I thought they said they where ‘fixing’ and on multiple occasions when the AI has had a penalty and I’ve chose the right way to dive the game delays the dive so I can’t get to the ball Could honestly go on 🤦‍♂️

What I hate about the past games is career modes has the most unrealistic transfers ever, for example I’ve seen Salah bought by Madrid or Pulisic bought by Barca . Has anyone played career mode yet?

is it full of exploits like previous versions? do we actually can play football in this version where you don't get punished from moving the ball? Until they remove the run-franchise player, repetitive curls that work all the time, im not buying it. FIFA 23 has that already.

I hope its more realistic than 23!! The players were too fast it was ridiculous! Especially players like mbappe all you have to do is sprint!! Also the defending was shocking! Every player turning with lead boots made attacking too easy!! On the whole completely unrealistic and shit!

My biggest gripe was the opponent scoring right after I scored or right before the half/game ends....its literally expected that i will have every goal blocked and my opponent will get a stupid silly goal where my goalie will fumble or my team will be looking in to wrong directions and allow attackers to score as if they werent even there😂

​@RYU583 I agree. You could be a Prem team playing a League 2 team and a few minutes from the end of the match the L2 team turns into Barcelona. No matter what you do, you will not get the ball off them and they will score. Every time. EA calls it 'momentum'. I call it 'bollocks'.
