EAA Ford Trimotor departs Oshkosh 2021

The famous EAA Ford Trimotor takes another round of happy passengers as it departs at Oshkosh Airventure 2021. The Trimotor is a common site around the country at major airshows and never fails to fly at full capacity (well, it only fits 10 people at a time!) I had the opportunity to ride it at Sun n Fun in the mid 90s, an experience I’ll never forget! Powered by 3 Pratt and Whitney R-985s with 450HP, the Trimotor has more than enough power to effortlessly levitate off the ground no sooner than the pilots push the throttles in…and I suspect they also run it at reduced power too.
I was hoping to taking my daughter onboard a flight but the ticket counter closed for the day 10m before we got there! Bummer.
