Actually looks pretty balanced, apart from jet planes going at such speeds. 3 torp bombers can be pretty nasty, but the amount of skill and practice needed for 2 TBs is already rough, and now you have to manage another squad which is way faster, which means coordinating between all 3 TBs will be a challenge, not mentioning the jet TBs deal really low damage per torp, and takes forever to reload. But the fact it has AP carpet bombs instead of HE ones, it could be an issue for Eagle when getting into BB-heavy matchmaking, as farming them via DoT is only limited to TBs. (But if you put Cunningham on it...hmmm...maybe module-breaking CV?) It's ideal for dunking on destroyers(and possibly super light cruisers like Smolensk), but otherwise it's not as efficient in farming damage like a Malta or Haku.

It is balanced! I mean, for a cv.. you got it right - it really struggles in BB heavy matchmaking (good luck flooding USN BB’s with this and the planes won’t come back). But I find it easier to hunt dds with it than haku or malta; just so many tools at her disposal. Note that it’s not better against smols and co - just barely more hits than dds. There you rely on torps mostly. And indeed you have to micro manage the jets TBs separately - it’s too quick.

Oh and - I tested, forgot to say - cunningham increases the accuracy by 3%. Against bbs. No effect on dds.

Salut DFA, Suite à l'ajout de ce bateau, tu devrais vérifier le détail des bonus d'élite de l'Entreprise, Hornet et Indomitable (oui, je n'aime pas les PA mais j'ai les 3😂). Ils ont ajouté les bonus liés à l'escadron tactique des avions à réaction....mais sans les avions bien entendu. Je crois qu'il y a aussi un bug sur le Kaga. Pour celui-ci, depuis qu'ils ont mis le FDR, je joue beaucoup moins T10, ça va me motiver à continuer ainsi (j'attends l'arrivée des cuirassés américains hybrides pour voir ce qu'il va aussi se passer dans les airs...).

Yep! I’ve tried pc cv and did not like it for that reason. One of the few things blitz got right.

The elite bonus for illustrious now includes the tactical torpedo bombers as well, so looks like the rest of the line is getting them as well as eagle. @dfa, how do you suggest to change build and play styles for them? Thanks!

Yes, much better. Eagle struggles a lot in a BB matchmaking especially with US BBs. FDR just rolls over them.

My midway with historical camo and legendary mod are plainly BETTER than the Eagle.

Will depend on the matchmaking I would say, midway isn’t ideal against destroyers
