Eagles Canyon Raceway - Track Analysis 2.7mile CCW

This video is a CCW track analysis video at Eagles Canyon Raceway (ECR) located in Decatur Texas. I share my thoughts and suggestions with you keeping in mind they are just one driver's point of view.
Video was created with dual 4k cameras #1 being a visor cam for full speed video and #2 was slow speed to capture track detail. For reference the height of the slow speed video was recorded at 40" above ground.
Configuration is the full length 2.7mile CCW circuit with 200 ft elevation, 15 turn, 40 ft wide and a 2200 ft long back straight.
Reference only - ECR known lap times - 2.7mile CCW
Formula 3 - 1:46.xxx (estimated, word of mouth)
Formula 1000 - 1:46.7 (my car as of May 2022)
Formula Atlantic - 1:46.xxx (I raced against this one, not sure the exact time)
Corvette Z06 - 1:58.2
Porsche 991.1 GT3 RS - 1:59.6
Radical SR3 SuperSport - 2:03.9

i wish everyone did track commentary/tutorial in slo-mo. it gives way more opportunity to find visual references on the horizon for the blind sections. thank you.

Great video! You should do a video update. Not sure if you've been there recently, but the track is still amazing - and the facilities are absolutely next level. If I lived closer, I'd go hang out at the bar and watch the cars play even if I wasn't driving that day. It makes G2 look like a bad joke.

Hi Dan, Glad you like it. There are a few options that come to mind when looking for a formula car like mine. #1, I do know of one in CO that is for sale or last I checked it was for sale. That is a Firman F1000. #2, you can order a new Mazda FmZr from a Texas mfg. They seem to be a good choice however a bit slower, closer to a formula enterprise. #3, watch forums in ApexSpeed. I hope that helps if you need more just let me know
