Eagles over the Pennsylvania

While visiting with family, I got a chance to fly a few batteries and while airborne, I found a friend to cruise with. I kept my distance and respected its space, but I was so excited to get another chance to fly around such an incredible bird!

I've seen eagles here in Queens NY. They are making a comeback in population. Magnificent birds!

They are big too. I did not realize they came of the endangered list a bunch of years ago. Great to see so many in the wild.

@@DronePsyche in Staten Island we have ospreys that look exactly like eagles but with white bellies. Watched one dive a catch a fish at Mt Loretto Unique wilderness area

I love watching birds in flight. I kept my distance and down wind not to disturb it, only at the end when I sharply turned to go home did it ever acknowledge my existence.
