i mean if he pans out a 1st and a 3rd is relatively cheap. If it goes sideways a 2nd and a 3rd are real picks and it's kind of a mess. It's a worthwhile gamble, but it's definitely a gamble.

I also think this move was huge for Carson's mental health, Philly was brutal to him and clearly ruined his confidence and now he's in much more lowkey franchise that's run professionally. He's athletic with a great arm, so i've never doubted his talent. I hope this works out for Wentz and am hopefully he can make a big comeback in his new spot

there's no way he can get back to the 2017 form in any case, because it was predicated on his athleticism helping him make 3rd-down conversions. especially after the back injury that's not a possibility.
@SidelineSteve
@SidelineSteve 3 жыл бұрын
Hard to be an L because options for a possible high-end QB were v limited for them. Dak won’t hit the market, if they do that’d be a huge move. Watson won’t go inner division, so they were looking at like Wentz/Winston/Fitzpatrick lol
@lafan4801
@lafan4801 3 жыл бұрын
wentz is probably an L but its worth a shot for a 2 and a 3 pic. They spent 45+m last year in QB money so this trade is still $ positive at the position. If they pull off a great off-season then they could win division. Ballard is not gonna overpay anyone.
@SidelineSteve

Most underestimate how well Stafford will play in a good organization. Depending on how much luck the Buc's have with free agency, resigning some of their own free agents and/or recruiting veteran free agents goes, The Rams could end up being the best team in the NFC. On point comparison of Ben and Farve. They peaked at like the 5th year and that was the problem. They could be great HOF players without film study or an offseason regime. But because they didnt work hard and could get away with it guess what that behavior worked its way down the roster. Horrible ints blown assignment weird fumbles. You also saw weird passive aggressive moves by the front office showing they knew what the issue was. Packers drafting QBs Steelers giving reps to Dobbs when Ben was able to go.

Colin’s take on Big Ben on so stupid. 🙄 Ben has never had a losing season, and he just went 12-3 and won the AFC North after elbow surgery. He will likely be better next season. It’s the worst trade I’ve ever seen, great for Wentz, but for the Eagles organization dumbest thing I’ve ever seen. I could see go back and watch the Eagles trade McCoy on repeat and it’ll look like a better trade than this one. As an Eagles fan. Can’t wait for Wentz to go to the Superbowl and make this clown organization cry

Colin has been eerily on point with his words as of the last 2 months. " when you sell your soul, you become trapped ". Let that sink in for a minute. This applies to life in general too. Not just NFL organizations. Colin is too real for alot of viewers. Just saying. 💯💯

The only reason I believe that Wentz has a great shot is because of Frank. I trust our coach will set him straight again. It also helps to have a top 0-line, great D, great coaches, and staff. I would also say that he has a great running game and decent receivers. We need to resign TY and get a couple of receivers and add some depth on the D. I always stick with my Colts no matter what. I never want to go back to the days where the halftime frisbee dogs were the highlight of the games.

Yes it was a good move by the Colts because they didn't really have to give up a lot. However can Carson stay healthy ? He hasn't proven that he could. Just because a team goes 11-5 one season doesn't mean your gonna go 12-4 the next. We don't know what Stafford has left ? Every year is different because you win this year doesn't guarantee you the next. On paper a lot of things look good.
