Imagine the Eagles members looking at the comments, where the majority of them is talking about a hot German dude with rose tattoos in the neck that plays with the Japan U20 team.
I’ve played guitar for nearly 30 years. There’s fun songs, sad songs, fast songs, slow songs… but very few speak like this one. And not just with what it says, but because of how it sounds and feels

Many years ago, I was in a dive bar in Ft. Lauderdale. The trio played a set, then announced they were taking a break. A young lady from the audience walked forward and asked the lead if she could borrow his guitar for ONE song. He said Yes. She sat on his stool and knocked out this song, all by herself. She was INCREDIBLE! As she went on, the place fell increasingly silent; and when she finished, she got a 5 minute standing ovation. I'll never forget that night, the first time I heard this song and the special moment when time stood still and the universe delivered celestial perfection!.

He can’t see how much he’s lost in his life because of his ‘desperado’ ways. I can only pity him now. He’ll land up a lonely old man trying to hang on to his youth because of his own insecurities. And to sadly burst a bubble, voice analyses comparing different concerts videod by different fans in 2023 and 2024 indicates clear evidence that Don Henley has been miming to a pre-recorded (plus auto-tuned!!!) vocal track to this song on stage during concerts that fans have been paying big bucks. Ethical question: Should the Eagles disclose this deception up front to potential ticket buyers?
