15 things to be a true lady. As for society has varied standards for men and women being a lady is more of a dream. We all need to know what forms the core of a lady mindset. females look at and understand social interactions differently and no matter what there ought to be some difference in expected behaviour from the society's point of view between a gentleman and a lady.

That’s why we have video notes: Alux.com/rules-gentleman The list is not the valuable part in this video but our interpretation of it and the way we explain it. We’re disappointed when people post it the way you do, because it’s not providing the audience with the value. We worked hard to get all the points across in a way that will make a difference and stick around, otherwise we would’ve just published the list. You’re doing more harm than good.

Respect. I had someone I worked with once tell me after several political conversations we had that he didn't agree with anything I said but that he appreciated the conversations because I made what he considered to be logical arguments and I never tried to over talk him. After watching this vid I now realize that he was a gentleman and I was on my way. Also, "Principles" is a great read.

Respect. I personally think that we have lost the meaning of being a gentleman in our culture because we value winning at all costs over anything else. In our hyper competitive society, we are raised in a very binary manner. We’re either winners or losers. Winners supposedly reap the rewards. It is this mindset that makes us completely write off and even hate those who disagree with us. If I have the choice of being right or being kind, I’d prefer to be kind. It’s the way we should all be living instead of choosing short term gains over long term success.

Moises..Well said & very true. Everyone is exactly what they choose to be, or allow themselves to become.. Life is not always fair, i know this well..but i have never let that re-define me, fundamentally change my beliefs, or justify any wrongdoing to others, that have not well & truly earned it, by willfully violating the private boundaries of life or person. The pink floyd song, "On the turning away" is a good example.. MINDSET is key, helped by the courage of your convictions.. Beyond that..as Heracles said.."A man's character is his destiny..this decides his path..and, ultimately, his fate". If you ever had anything..you only truly lost it because you lost interest & chose to give it up, or to stop fighting to protect it.. This is true with a child & a toy.. This is true with personal beliefs.. It remains true with morals, values & principles.. And it remains true for you too.. Anything you ever had inside you, you can get back..it was not a posetion that could truly be stolen, you just gave it up.. Free again, that which was never caged, but by you, in your own mind. Do not turn away, do not turn cold.. Turn against those sick twisted bastards, ready your weapons, and be ever vigilant, ever faithful, and ever prepared to...Light up the darkness! "Lest we forget"

Thats why in the video it said, it's like walking, no one is born knowing how to walk, its a skill you learn. So, being an introvert is an actual thing but the video says that you can train yourself to be better at talking with others. Its not disrespectful, it's just a comment. It never said being an introvert is a disease. I am an introvert by the way, and I have learned to have bettter conversations, as the video says introverts can.

Truth ✌... When women got enough matured .. They start running behind #gentlemen😎
@MakeWay4CJ
@MakeWay4CJ 5 жыл бұрын
Yes... of course.....+Athan Kosmo - because anytime a man fall's short (starts or stops doing something), it's ALWAYS a woman's fault, right? Listen, when an Alpha man looks at this, he never says that it ended because women just SUDDENLY stopped appreciating it because he knows that women would never stop appreciating what is in their best interest. But to a Beta male, your excuse would make sense because beta males are notorious for failing to reflect inward and instead look outwardly to find another group to take the blame. Here's the thing - Alpha men do not let other people dictate how they behave or who they should be proud to become. Instead, they simply adopt certain attributes (usually attributes that they would be proud of their son's for having) and this way only the people who are worthy of their time and are of the same caliber will be attracted to them. All others will be uninterested and will go away on their own. In other words, they use their chivalry as a way to weed out the unworthy - they don't STOP being chivalrous just to gain the interest of the masses because that's counterproductive to a good quality of life! So if you've looked around and noticed that women CEASED (not seized) to appreciate a gentlemen's manner then it's quite possible that the women you were watching were of less quality than the women you SHOULD HAVE been paying attention to. Just food for thought. Be well.

Not all women, but a lot. I still show the utmost respect to all. I hold doors, speak, assist, even when not required, and I still notice the lack of appreciation. I was once told "you can help me, but you're not getting my number". I politely told the lady "My wife was the one who told me you were struggling, so I didn't come here for that". The embarrassment on her face was priceless, but saddening that she couldn't take some help when she was in real need.

@Malthizar 5 жыл бұрын
I think your comment and the replies prove that Gentlemen and manners have disappeared for many. Note how everyone here essentially said, "No, you". As to the cause of the problem. Feminist women are just as much the fault for lack of Gentlemen as feminized men who aren't willing to stand up for themselves or instill values in their children. Both parties are at fault and until we can take ownership of our own shortcomings rather than point the finger, the problems will remain.

None of these say you have to be a push over or let people walk all over you. Don't mix up these rules, first you must love and respect your self in order for others to respect you and in order for you to respect other. Serving man kind doesn't work if you don't serve yourself first.

It's all the above. From high school, l saw people who are respectful are regarded as weak and those who are brash seems to be respected. The media appears to highlight people who are macho-- not strong as preferable traits and people who are meek are protraided as weak. People mistakenly believe meekness is weakness. So many men who do not want to be labeled as weak would subscribe to this way of thinking. I know I have. But it's the truly strong who are able to resist this.

The problem is that a real gentleman isn't a "nice guy". A true gentleman doesn't get stepped on or pushed around. They have confidence and will take charge. "Nice Guys" are cowards that participate in propitiation and would call letting another dude take their girlfriend in their own car to a movie that they paid the ticket for "gentlemanly".

Nice work! "Respect!" About the question: "Why do you think the culture has changed?" The only point permanent in life is change! If for better or worse it depends on what we add to it by the actions that we make in our private life. As we can learn with Carl Gustav Jung at his work on Collective Unconscious.

@Malthizar

@@marcanthony6144 My guess is that he's speaking on it from multiple layers: The fact that society is so immoral that people don't want to change; due to social media, our attention span is so short we pay little attention to 20+ min videos; and that because of media, even when we're told what's required and actually important, our "default" goes back to what prevailing society has taught us (in this case, that "bad boys" are superior to "gentlemen") Of course that is my interpretation. I could be completely off. Hope it helped regardless 👍🏿

People don’t think about the consequences of their actions. I think the internet and media has affected the way we (humans) function. We are busy browsing social media while we could be reading a book and learning something beneficial. People also lose their etiquette because they don’t care. I believe that I have a good etiquette, but when I look around me, people are rude and not following the rules. This is one of the reasons for me trying to minimize my interactions with low etiquette people.
