I have a maltese..she looks exactly like this..(the after version lol) i usually groom her myself n she has NEVER needed her ears plucked. I check all the time bc i wanna do it so bad😆 but why is it that some maltese do n others dont or is that just how it is?🤔

Why doesn't pulling ear hair hurt them? I thought it would but most dogs are fine with it.

It does hirt and can cause micro tears inside the ear. But if you have a gooey ear sometimes it can't be avoided because nasty infection filled hair is bad for the ears

Some dogs ear infections are so bad and itchy that there hair getting pulled out of there ear canals feels good for them
