I use tapers all the way to 11/16 and my ear lobes are thick and healthy everyone has they own preference do you girl 🙌🏼😊

Dead stretching is way healthier and easier than any other method if you dead stretch by 1mm increments you will feel no pain as you would with a taper.. I'm currently at size 18mm..

I Think its a good idea not to go bigger ... your ears are thin as you Said and dont push it .... I was sooo worried for your ears when you tried to push the taper in ....

Just a fact, thin ear lobes don't normally happen because you stretch too fast, it's usually because of genetics. If your ear lobes are thin, then they always were from the get go. My girlfriend has really thin ear lobes and she actually attempted to stretch at a slower pace but once she got to 5/8s, it was as if her journey was over, not cus she wanted it to be over, but cus it looked like her ears just weren't gonna take the abuse anymore and one of my friends actually did tear his ear, got it stitched back and now he's fine. Me I stretched every two weeks, went up to half an inch, but because of Jiu Jitsu, I didn't like putting tape on my ear so I went without gauges for two years and now I'm back at 00s in both ears. My ear lobes are really meaty, but just to show off the genetics fact, I've been doing Jiu Jitsu for almost 9 and a half years as well as wrestling for a year as a freshman, and Judo for five years already and my ears have absolutely no cauliflower at all. That's because my ears are naturally hard, the only people that get cauliflower are people with stupidly soft ears, the kind that wiggle when you flick em', yeah mine don't do that, u flick mine and they ain't gonna move, they're just gonna stay in place. So yeah, if u got thick ear lobes, ur practically gonna be able to abuse ur ears without any real struggle, pain or consequences. Genetics mean alot, some people bruise, bleed and burn real easily, some others don't. Another reason why ur ear lobes may come off as thin, and this is normally at the base of your ear lobe and you may end up tearing it is because you may have had your ears pierced since you were a baby... Ear lobs grow guys, that ear piercing since you were an infant probably fucked you over, I've seen some crooked wack ass looking ear piercings, cus they were pierced too young. I can't stress this enough, do not pierce ur babies, let them get their own ears pierced when they're ready, I think a good age personally is like age 14, cus that's when your ears sort of stop developing at a high rate, I mean they're still changing, but medical books will tell you that your most exagerated growths happen during infancy, so yeah, let them become teens, let them decide if they even wanna get their ears pierced, and I will argue with any parent, because it's not a necessity for your child, literally no reason for you to make the decision for them to pierce their ears, and now u know, if they want gauges later on, or even when they wear piercings as an adult, u piercing em' during infancy, may fuck up their look in the future. So yeah, that's alot to read, but it'll help some people understand why some stretch easily while others don't.

Hey! Im aware you like the way you’re doing things, but I do have a tiny suggestion, just in case something goes wrong. Your ears are.... really... thin. A healthier way yo stretch without taping and tapering, i would recommend dead stretching with glass plugs, they have a really curved end and are healthy to stretch with, also u dont have to buy anything else other than the plugs. Just a piece of advice, either way u know what’s best for you

Anyone using tapers past 00g rode on the short bus growing up. Single flare glass plugs are the best and less blowouts. And it should never hurt when you stretch.

Dead stretching is so much healthier for your ears as it slowly stretches your ears and keeps them thicc. Get some pretty stone plugs or weights and wear them for a few months.

It's because you're upsizing by 2mm, not 1. If you would upsize by 1mm at a time you'd be fine. Also, to thicken up your lobes; downsize or even leave jewelry out for a few weeks then stretch back to the size you want. This will help new tissue to grow because of increased blood flow.

I'm so tempted to go from 16mm to 18mm but my lobes are so thin omgg😭😭😭😭

Yeah, since I was passed 00g I would never use tapers. They can only be used for smaller sizes. I’m now at 1/2 inch, my goal size is 1 inch so I’m halfway there. Anyway, what I can use to stretch ears for bigger sizes is either use glass plugs, or taping method. However, when you use acrylic tapers, I was like (Are you sure you’re gonna use that? 😳) Then when you’re having trouble with your right ear, I was like (OMG her ear lobe is tiny and thin! Please be careful!) Thank god my ears were big and they’re both thick and healthy, that’s because I use Jojoba Oil to help me stretch my ears. Anyway, despite your ear trouble, I enjoy watching your videos! 🙂

Tapers are harder to use because they are never exactlynthe size they run bigger I highly recommend using glass and single flare tappers are always double flare just be safe girl💪🙇

I know that you said you like using tapers, but I’ve always heard that if you use tape instead it will keep your lobes healthy & thick. I know you said you have small ears, but maybe that would be a better option from here on out since your lobes are already thin. 😍

Everyone is different. Don't let the haters tell you what to do. I personally don't use tapers but if it works for you, keep doing it! They look great on you!

Truth is that how thin your ears doesn't really depend on how fast you stretch or now. My ears are now at a 7/16 and I'm going to stretch to a half inch soon. I stretched every two weeks and my ear lobes are stille extremely meaty. There are people who just genetically don't have thick ear lobes. My girlfriend is a good example, her limit was 7/16, if she passed that, her ears seem like they would rip and she was stretching like every three months.

I've used tapers & tape & haven't had a problem with either. Do what works for you :) I'm getting ready to do the 16-18 jump myself so hopefully it goes well for me too :p

I feel. My right lobe is at 9/16 (I'm gonna stretch to 5/8 next month and then to 11/16 in September). But because of my low initial piercing on my left ear, it is stuck at 8/16 and has been hella thin and blown out since 2018 (at that time they were 00 and I forced a 7/16 taper in WAY too soon). So, my right ear is just gonna be bigger than my left. I will stretch my right as far as it can go, and I'm okay with that.
