Terminal redux, the space metal opera. An absolute masterpiece in every way
@KenoxProductions

Nearly 5 years later and the moment at 4:45 - 5:25 is still one of my all time favorites in metal. 4:45 - "Why don't we just kill you now and put this all to rest?" 4:52 - Suspensful clean section, waiting for the answer. 5:03 - Retaliation by Iso Subject 5, explaning his newly earned powers. Such great story telling, musically and lyrically. If anyone hasn't checked out this albums lyrics/story yet, just do it. It makes the album even better than it already is.

This is an underated song on this album, but I understand with songs like 'charging the void', 'pillars of sand', 'collapse', and 'recharging the void' why it's not as amazing in everyone's eyes.

if I ever had to choose which memories to lose, I would choose to lose the memory of ever hearing their entire discography, especially Terminal Redux, so that I could have the experience of hearing Vektor for the first time again. The greatest moment of my life in 2016 was hearing "Now grant my parole FROM. THE. ISOLATION PROJEEEEEEEECT!!!!" as the instrumentals build up again. Every part of this song is pure heaven.

Policies of my decree Once again, are enforced by me Epsilon, Pteropticon Failing now because of my leave LCD, at full capacity This is where I’ll restart my work Take the names of those who caused me shame Be silent, swift, and deft on your search could someone explain this part please?
@Mistophant
@Mistophant 7 жыл бұрын
My interpretation is that now that he is back in a position of power, he restarts implementing the rules he created before being cast away. he says that the current failure of the Epsilon and Pteropticon colonies is due to other people running in his stead. He intends to apply his LCD treatment on the population with great strength to bring them back under his rule. He also intends on destroying the ones who caused his fall from power through the shadows.
@accieT
@accieT 5 жыл бұрын
He's making his own policies and regime and enforcing them to get revenge on the people who put him in the isolation experiment and cygnus. He’s basically trying to take back control of his work as he used to be a leader in there. Because of his leave in the isolation experiment he wasn’t able to enforce those policies so they were failing to work. By taking the names of the people he is trying to use those policies against them for revenge.

It's because fits better to his vocals and it's easier for him too so he can sound more normal instead of adjusting his voice to the standard tuning. I guess so, however, I'm quite confident for my opinion.
